Another great masterclass with this Prelude. Perfect Tempo to play Lento Assai. 1st time learn the Italian word: Sotto Voce. Did you use the soft pedal? I was looking for a crying cello effect & I was not disappointed. Good balancing of both hands. Great phrasing, perfect voicing. There’s always so much to learn. If Chopin is a genius in the 19th century, you’re the great musician that brings his music to life so lay person like me can enjoy. Thank you so much 💖💖💖💖💖
Thank you so much, June. I am really happy about your words. Because if you can learn just listenning to my performance is because I am also doing my work as a teacher. And that´s really imporrtant, because you can learn with my online piano lessons and also with my recordings. You know... if we pay attention carefully (as I am sure you do) we can always learn many things listenning recordings. I appreciate deeply your comment. Thanks again! And no, I don´t use soft pedal.
What an amazing performance, Efrain! So elegant, emotional and expressive. Well done. 👏👏👏Keep up your beautiful work. Have a nice weekend and take care.🎉🎉🎉 Your friend Satoru
Marvelous, Wonderful. The more I listen to it, the more it reminds me of the “ The Swan” ( Saint-Saěns). Your performance brings out the profound sadness with the right hand pulsating tear dripping sound. The candle image symbolizes a beautiful life that is fading away… Love the beauty of “the Swan”. Love your video 🦋🦢🦋
