Anastasia Huppmann magnifique, je travaille énormément pour suivre vos pas Mlle Anastasia Huppman....virtuose, et grandement pianiste, vous et kathia buniatishvili etes mes exemples....
Such a great performance and brilliant take on. Unbelievable that there were still so much power and storm left, which could be taken out of this revolutionary composition. It sounds quite fresh and as attractive as heard on the first day, even after hundreds of times of watching and listening to all your recordings, exactly one year since our first meeting. Much love and respect for pretty Anastasia
Wow, wow, wow, wow, oops, my brain got stuck. The legs! The beauty! The talent! Don't you know that people are only supposed to get one special gift? You aren't supposed to be that good and that beautiful at the same time. But I'm not complaining. Give me more.
Anastasia... I believe that if Mister Chopin had been sitting in the audience that afternoon, he would have had tears of joy running down his cheeks. Absolutely beautiful and filled with the emotion he must have had when he composed it. A hui hou... 💖
The best performance for me so far. So many people put speed and skill first and leave feelings behind performing this piece. Anastasia, you are putting so much emotions to this piece. The dynamic you pull out of it is like if you feel the same way Chopin was feeling, when he was writing this one. All the dramatic history of uprisings that failed and all the pain of having no freedom once Poland was gone for long from the map of Europe and its people didn't have motherland since years and for long years to come at the time. Thank you.
ASTONISINGLY GOOD! I've never heard it plays with so much PASSION, reckless abandon, wonderful dynamic contrasts, a sense of high drama, and total commitment to the ememphais of the implied meaning behind these oh-so-familiar notes. CONGRATULATIONS, this is performed not only with magnificent SKILL, more importantly it's played with true ARTISTRY -- a rare treat particularly when it come to the etude literature. I envy you the freedom and expressive power you display with your RIGHT hand.
That's something I noted in all Anastasia's performances. The smooth flow of energy from the shoulders down from the arms to the wrists and fingers is classic.
You are the epitome of grace as you enter the stage, then deliver a thunderous, virtuosic performance as though you wrote it! Truly, you are one of the finest pianists on our blue marble today and I am in awe of your great mastery and can't imagine anyone delivering a performance any better than this! The pinnacle where mastery and passion meet! Applause!! BRAVO! ~Jackie
The ferocity and anger of Chopin's famous Etude are communicated with great power and passion in this magnificent performance. Your playing combines a very strong technique with great poetic insight. The programme notes are very interesting. I did not know about the reference to Beethoven's Sonata No. 32 before. Thank you dear Anastasia for this wonderful musical production. With best wishes for Christmas and the New Year, Paul
I am daily exercising on this fantastic piece and I can only say: Wow ! Absolutely great performance with superb attention to detail. I am blasted away.
Genau mein Fach- und Interessenbereich, die Revolution.... Schön, dass wir das von Anastasia toll gespielte Stück jetzt im Video immer abrufbereit haben.
so intense and it's still very clean😌 ! you have such a unique attitude to your play style. this video is a fine and distinct example to the revolutionary etude.
Yes! I have been waiting to hear you perform/upload this piece! It was only a matter of when. This one is for the books... Wonderfully done, Ms. Huppmann! Brava!
Thank you a wonderful performance. In most cases this piece is played as fast as possible with no sensitivity. This performance shows wonderful controlled dynamics within a framework of fiery romanticism.
You play with your soul ... I wish Chopin was alive and could see it ... my son plays same Etude but I never heard anything close to your performance ,...
You did it again, Anastasia - electrifyingly beautiful - and so were you!Christmas Blessings to you and your family: joy and success in the new year.Love, Marguerite Scott
I haven't heard the Revolutionary played artistically (which I consider "correctly") since one of Catherine Rollin's (middle school OMG) students let loose with it when I asked (at his 1st saxophone lesson with me) "So...what's the hardest thing you know how to play?" Your interpretation is stunning. Truly. You're far more an artist of Chopin than Kissin. [yep]
bosendorfer are my favourite pianos and your my favourite concert pianist! very nuanced and controlled dynamics. most concert pianists treat this piece as a race when i think it sounds best at this speed with lots of expression. 10/10
As a drummer I wear my running shoes to provide solid contact with both my bass drum and h-hat pedals. Piano virtuoso are apparently able to make do with stilettos...... Magnificent playing.
Thank you ... what a wonderful Sunday and even more so relaxing and so nice during the elaboration of my anthropology work, you are wonderful anastasia... Énoc from México city.
