you make that digital piano sound like a Steinway with your playing, absolutely stunning.

second time I closed my eyes and just listened, and it sounded as if it was being performed in a concert hall. You sir have some remarkable skills!

What an extraordinary performance! I remember hitting a brick wall with this piece -- i's just so difficult to play beautifully. How on earth do you get the right-hand so completely right, with the melodic notes speaking so clearly and the arpeggios forming a sonic halo around them? Seriously impressive -- and very beautiful.

Thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. The key is to get flowing, natural flexible rhythm and a clear sense of the physical shapes under the fingers but I do agree, it's a rather difficult study.

Can I ask a question How does exactly feel for a fluent musician to be able to see a unfamiliar score and imagine the sounds of it? Is the ability of a fluent musician to imagine the sounds of the unfamiliar score is the same as sight singing or solfeggio classes in music institutions?

I think you know the answer... Surely it's clear from my previous answers and all the explanations on my website and in videos you've seen... I believe that conventional ear-training does not lead to fluency: it leads to very slow (and pretty useless) musical decoding at best; at worst it generates paranoia. I just see complete rhythmic and tonal shapes in the score and imagine them playing on the keyboard - no thinking about notes or intervals or scales or solfège or anything like that!

What age do you start playing piano? do you start playing from sheet music or by ear?
@PhilBestMusic

When was four, I began to pick things out by ear a little. I started lessons at five but didn't read. I relied on my teacher showing me. It sounded very nice (I was told) but I was no child prodigy. Then when I was nine, I started to figure out the stuff I now teach. I advanced very rapidly after that.

@@PhilBestMusic I am amazed that you invented a new piano approach (model) at a young age. You're a Genius! :)

Well thanks! I don't feel like it was genius as much as determination and a bit of luck.
