C-Sharp Minor is literally the most magical key for music. It's like it unlocks some door to music in Heaven. 🎵 Agree? And as always Kassia's playing is beautiful!
Hey Kassia, thank you for making these videos. It's the main way I learn of classical pieces. I'm happy you have the ability to play such beautiful music for so many people, and I'm especially happy that I'm one of those people :) I hope you're doing well
trying learning through the sheet music and then imitating through the video, it could help you with interpreting sheet music later on, if you need help like that.
Oh my god Kassia! This is my favourite waltz that I play. I loveeee how you play this! Way better then rosseau because he didn’t really add a piu Mosso on that part. I love you a love your godly fingers I love your style!!!!
Charles Zhao oops, that’s Major they are talking about, not the minor :) But they said they like it if it were D flat instead of C sharp (Which is the same but they hate it because of too many sharps and D flat can be read easier they said.) I might be wrong thought but that’s what I know 🤔 💭
I can't deal with the fact you have less subscribers than similar chanels like Rousseau. I like him a lot as well, but you are different. You interpret and get acquainted with the piece and the musician. We can feel it in your performances, you really put a lot of heart !!
Did you know that…. This waltz was composed one year after his break-up with George Sand, and two years before he died of tuberculosis. It is inspired by the Slavic rhythm of Polonaises n and mazurkas, memories of the traditional music of his native Poland.
Hey Kassia, I am not sure you will read this but here I am writing this anyway. This interpretation has something in it other interpretations don't have, maybe its the colour you chose for the notes, maybe its the elegance in the way you play, or both . I learned the piece originally beacause of you, and its been a while since I listened to your interpretation and words cannot describe how differently, beautifully and gorgeously you played it compared to how I play it. Thank you.
Kassia, you are a legend! This is one of my favorite Chopin pieces. Great performance! I am expecting more amazing performances from you. Can you please do Prelude in G minor by Rachmaninoff? - From Sara
YES! I'm so happy to hear this magnificent interpretation from you, Kassia! Bravo!!! You're one of the few RU-vidrs who are not only talented but also reads the input from the viewers too. First it's Nocturne Op. 48 No.1, then Nocturne Op. 55 No.1, and now this, all of them are my favorite Chopin pieces. I love them all! Now, if you don't mind, I'll just be waiting for Chopin's Scherzo No.2, perhaps someday my ears will be blessed with your interpretation of that piece :-)
Im am never disappointed with how good you are at piano, a great motivation and Inspiration Great job!! (Edit) who the hell disliked the video and who dislikes the videos? why?
In moments like this you can truly understand how different a piece can be based on the performer. I've never been a huge fan of this piece, but since I listened to your version it's stuck in my head and now i'm looking foward to learn it myself. Thank you for the beautiful interpretation :3
I don't know the difference between a world-class pianist and Kassia. I mean: You know how to play piano to the hardest levels (I think) and you are fluid and you have the dinamics and tempo and all this stuff. I really don't see the diference
With a few exceptions it mostly comes down to exposure. The same way, say, ”the world’s most handsome or beautiful” person is always a celebrity. I’m sure that among the world’s eight billion people there are individuals equally or more handsome or beautiful, but due to lack of exposure, we’ll never find out who they are. Now, with internet and social media, it’s becoming easier for people to find a platform and get exposure, but to really become world renowned pure skill isn’t enough. In the case of a pianist, especially a classical one at that, you need to get involved with certain schools, train under certain people, play at certain opera houses etc.
Piano playing doesn’t only come down to ability. If you hear a normal person’s version of ballade in g minor compared to Zimerman’s interpretation, you will notice a world of difference. However, I think Kassia’s interpretations are amazing too and often better than world class pianists (This might be naïveté or lack of experience on my part, but I do think so)
My grandma would play this all the time and she did that part at 0:51 in a very peculiar way. She always started that part very slowly almost stopping and when she repeated she would always increase the speed a little until she was playing it very fast. Because of her I have a tendency to think people are playing this part wrong and I don't care if Chopin wrote it the other way, if that's the case he was wrong and he should rethink his entire work. Great job anyways!
My favourite Chopin's waltz! Thx for this perform. Even when some1 don't clear recognize classical music, if you listen this piece you have to know this is Chopin.
My favorite waltz by Chopin. Thank you for posting this Kassia. To me there is much more to classical music and there is more of a story and the way you play it creates such a vivid picture of chopin taking his time making this waltz. Your performance was wonderful. Thank you for sharing💕
Awesome performance, that walz is my next goal right after 1 minute walz which im finishing ^^ Pl: Poza tym jestem ogromnie dumny z tego ze tak utalentowana pianistka jest z Polski 😌😌❤️ Eng: im so proud that such talentet musician is from my coutry- Poland
Kassia - Like others have written on here before, I've never heard this interpretation before and it's really eye-opening. Keep up the great work with exploring the depth of these wonderful pieces - I especially love how you pay close attention to the inner voices as well. As is commonly said, playing the piano is essentially like listening to an orchestra. So many textures to explore and in the end (even with fundamental customs that we need to follow), there's really no right or wrong answer. I do tend to appreciate unusual but likable interpretations more because it opens up for more musical possibilities.
I have mixed feeling after hearing this. It has the element of sadness, angry then happy (grateful, i think?) Back to sadness and angry again. I really love this part 1:20
Kassia, absolutely wonderful! You play so expressively. Thank you for sharing this wonderful performance, it is my favorite interpretation so far. Keep it up!!!
Kassia, you almost left me without words with this performance, every single note was perfect, the voices were perfectly-expressed, the dynamics were perfect, the interpretation was perfect, this performance is PERFECT in every aspect! This is truly one of the best performances you’ve gifted us, and I thank you from the deepest part of my heart, you make your subscribers’ day a real joy when you upload, and you even inspired me to finally learn this amazing Waltz. I sincerely Hope you haven’t had any kind of problems after moving abroad and I wish you the best. Have a Good Day! ;}
*GREAT PLAYING KASSIA AND THANK YOUUUUUU FOR THIS TUTORIAL!!* Btw Unless kassia's brilliance is met with Mendelssohn's op. 67 no. 4 song without words 'spinning dance' Chopins' op 10 no 4 Ètude (torrent) Rachmaninoff's Ètude Tabeleaux op 39 no 6 little Red Riding hood Listz's Hungarian Rhapsody no 6 Mozart's Sonata 12 (full) K 332 Beethoven's Rondo a cappricio 'Rage over a lost penny' op 129 No one will be happy 😅 Keep up the good work Kassia, Beautiful as always
Amazing interpretation tbh. The best one I've heard I think, other than Yuja Wang's. Love the descending melody you highlight with your thumb at the end
This is my favourite piano piece- whenever I find a new channel with classical piano music I have to search for this song lol. Happy to see you played it
Oh my god. This is so beautiful. i didnt even watch it. i just listened to the first bar and i knew it was perfect. Thank you Kassia for giving us, your fans, an opportunity to listen to great classical music. Thank you heart ♥️.
@@NAMBAPIANO ye see music allows u to but the texture is stable..it doesn't look like the texture in engraved in the notes...and the texture is black-white only I believe.
In my opinion I think Rousseau's interpretations more rememble that of the norm :) i think that Kassia often shows are more daring playstale for better or worse. I love both artists !
