Whew...such a fantastic looking cleaver! Awesome job man. Goodluck to both you and all the other knifemakers! And thanks for using my music, it goes great with the cleaver. I'm honered! It was fun working together!
Thank you for kind words Brother! Without your music the presentation scene wouldn't be so cool! Thank you for making this track and all your support Bart! It mean a lot to me!
Hi 👋 there man?! I hope you're doing well and I really impressed with this work, because that cleaver looks like the Kratos knifes 🔪 but modern design. I think it's a beautiful piece of art 🎨 nice job 👏 👍
Thank you very much Man! Appreciate it a lot! Indeed, there is something "God-of-War-ish" in this design, but the inspiration was taken from DOOM :). Thanks for kind words and support!
Amazing work, Dawid! That thing is a real beast. All of those parts go together so well and look extremely clean, well done! The hard work definitely shows
Your cleaver is awsome. Your work is really great and very inspiring. Your attitude of not making straight lines is your secret to success. Keep up the good work!
Thank you Michael! I think, the straight lines can ruin the blade look if the knife shape (contour) have no straight lines (in general- not always, but mostly). Thank you very much for support Man! Appreciate it a lot! David
Thanks Brother! oh yeah, this handle is one of my favorite! I would even said: it looks better than stabilized maple burl! Thanks a lot for support Hawk! I was busy because of the challenge and I didn't check what you were doing on your channel! This week I'll have more time to fix it:)! Cheers Brother!
That wonderful build was certainly more fun to watch than it must have been to create! I really appreciate your use of wrought; I love the stuff, but it is certainly different to work with than carbon steel. My wonderful mother-in-law found me about 80 pounds of good wrought at a garage sale (free!!!) so I have plenty to experiment with. If you lived near by I would happily share.
Haha, It was fun to make! Making something that big is always fun lol! Thanks a lot for the offer! unfortunately I live in middle Europe so on the second side of the globe😂! No idea what would be the shipping cost.. but if I have huge problem with finding it, I'll reach you Bryson! Thanks for support Man!
Thanks Benjamin! I'm not a big fan of mosaic and I think, sometimes, San mai blade can create more aesthetic look of the knife, than Damascus pattern in it! Thanks a lot for the support Brother!
On the competition chopper and the butcher cleaver you are right and I agree with you. On the kitchen one I would make very different one (not tapered at all... more like pear or hourglass shape).
Amazing blade, I'm a big fun of DOOM and I'd love to see your chopper in action against some daemons! :DI think it has all the daemonic, dark essence from the game, its so cool!
Thanks a lot Marek! I was trying to keep the Doom style around this piece! The idea was to make weapon that every single part is deadly and you can use it to fight! Thanks a lot for support:)!
hahaha:)! Thanks Man! Yes, the total weight of this cleaver is 3.5lb- it's totally ridiculous, but at the same time crazy cool (I mean, This cleaver is inspired by the DOOM- it can't be light weight! 😂)
If you happen to take suggestions, I think a lapel mic would be an excellent investment. As someone who has hearing issues, the section starting at 4:30 was rather difficult to hear. I think a lapel mic would help increase the production quality!
Thank you for this suggestion and you are very correct! In fact I was using lapel mic, but after it get damaged I back to phone mic. Can you recommend some good quality wireless lapel mics?
@@DBCraftWorld Unfortunately I am not very familiar with the world of video production and only have a very basic level of knowledge, so I don’t have an idea of which mics would be good, sorry!
Very cool, Love everything about it man! I would suggest getting an angle grinder to shape some of the bigger pieces. In the end you made a masterpiece but I am sure an angle grinder would speed up material reduction.
Thank you very much! Honestly I didn't thought to use angle grinder at all😅! You are totally right, it would be faster :). Thanks a lot for this suggestion, I'll definitely use it next time!
I watched the whole video and waited to see the finished piece of art! What the heck were you thinking? You can't really get a good look at it because it's surrounded in "darkness"! Horrible photos! But I do like the overall style of it. ☹️
Thanks a lot for kind words about the cleaver Michael! I'll post much more pictures on my instagram soon (and my website too). Don't worry, you will have a chance to see with much lighter background! Thanks a lot for honest opinion- it's important to me!
hahaha, Yes, and there is no mistake in spelling lol! Thanks a lot Phil! I didn't watched your video yet, but considering your "presentation outfit"- it's like a cherry on Top of the cake, I want to wait till the last end to watch it😂😂😂!
To kute żelazo. Bylo powszechnie stosowane przed XXw. Pozniej wyparla je stal i ludzie zaczeli oddawac wszystko z kutego żelaza na zlom. Z tego powodu, obecnie jest bardzo trudno dostepne.
It's not rude at all Jeremy. I'm curious are people more interested on my content while I speak OR is it better to leave work noise- for me making audio is additional work so your suggestion is not taken as rude;). thanks for watching and support!
Your personality is awesome but maybe to take some stress of editing off your hands you can cut back on so much trying to narrate everything and just kinda let the work speak for itself. Than just add a little talking here and there because it helps keep you engaged with your audience. So yes talk but just cut back to make your life easier lol
@@mavrick6088 Yeah, I think I'll just pass with narrative. I'm aware my english might be annoying for some people (there is nothing wrong with that- it's normal and ok) and those who will be curious about something just ask in the comment... Yeah.. maybe I'm trying too hard lol.
Thanks Charlie. The purpose of this one wasn't to make it useful (it's 3.5lb 😂), but cool looking😉, and as you already said it's cool :P. Thanks for watching Buddy!
At the very (very!) last end there are pictures where you can see the details in better light:). Thanks for watching and honest oppinion! This is actually very helpful👊!
I was going to say you may want to get better light but I really wish people were more polite with there critiques lol. Everybody wants high end large scale production anymore! Remember when RU-vid was just sh!ty home videos lol. One of those round lights I see people use I bet would do the trick. They are not expensive
@@mavrick6088 Thanks Mavrick! Yeah, I don't have proper equipment to make pro shots but I'm also sure 99% of people watch the YT on their phones. On the proper size screen the presentation looks much better. But over all those people are right, if I put brighter photo at the end, the video would be complete. Thanks for the support brother!
