Thank you very much for your video. Just got this tool today for Christmas. The instructions to me were not that good. Trying to find a video on how to use this tool. Stumbled across your video and is the best video on using this tool. Very informative. You were a great help for me. Keep up the good work. Thank you very much. Know I know how to use this tool properly. 😊
super helpful thank you for posting; I couldn't figure out how to put the blade on it doesn't say in the instructions about the red button on the side...lol
So happy I could help you, hope it helps you complete some cool projects or repairs. Please subscribe to the channel I have more reviews, DIY, how to's and cool motivation to come. Thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment.
Thanks for watching and I appreciate the concern. The video was not about sharpening a chisel but about a grinder. You can also use a grinder in the early stages of restoration of a neglected chisel before using the honing stone. When you have deep nicks and bad bevels a grinder can be part of the process to restore it. I know most people lose it when they see a chisel heading to the grinder but there are times when it's ok. I'm sure you won't believe that from me so I thought the editor of woodcraft magazine could explain. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FDfVAHtLloQ.html
No doubt the best way to sharpen a chisel. Yet a severely damaged one with massive chips and groves its a great starting point to get to a flat surface. Also with patience you can master sharpening tools with a grinder. You wouldn't think you could make art with a chainsaw but it happens. Thanks for watching and the comment.
