Honestly I don't see why some people's comments about me and my haircut are so judgmental; I was planning on cutting my hair short, so I thought that if I am going to make a big change like that I might as well try to do some good with it, so I decided to donate it. What's funny is (most of) you guys watch this video for the REACTION yet you criticize me so harshly for it. Yes, I admit I overreacted, but that is just the type of person I am. I overreact to simple things and get panic attacks very easily, I am sorry if you do not like that quality in others. I wanted my hair this length, and if you believe that "other people need it more than I do", I suggest you also help out and cut your hair, but if you already have, and you cut it shorter than me, more power to ya! But seriously lets stop the hate on my video, I was just attempting to do a good thing.
Hannah Nicole Although I do ultimately applaud you for actually going through with it and donating your hair, the theatrics was wayyyy too much. It's hair, it'll grow back in a few months. My hair was down below my waist and insanely thick, and I had it cut to above my shoulders and thinned out. I wish I could have donated it since my hair is also really healthy despite the fact that I have been dyeing it since I was 12 (I don't generally bleach my hair and I use Manic Panic dyes which contain no harsh chemicals), the fact that my hair is dyed meant that they couldn't take my hair which was a real bummer. Now I am just growing it back out again, but seriously, there's no reason to get so worked up when other people are losing ALL of their hair to life threatening diseases.
I don't care if you are over reacted or not , what I really care is that you have done a really good thing for people who really need it , and I am really impresed of how you cout your hair that much and you where so happy if I was you I would have just start crying , and I apologice for all those people whose comments are so rude .Feel proud of your self.
For all the people that are like wow that is a little bit I have long hair and it is so scary for me just to trim my hair and doing that I would've been the same way so some people just don't understand

i'm so annoyed at the people saying "it's just hair she overreacted". yes it'll grow back, but it's HER HAIR. she can react however she wants to. some people are just scared of having a big change, especially since she hadn't cut it in a while?? give her a break holy shit. to the people saying "well i cut my hair blah blah i didn't freak out". good for you, i'm glad you made that change. but people react differently to different things. not everyone is the same, get over it. in the end, this girl was trying to do a good thing. props to you, sister!
I actually love her hair shorter!!!! and you didn't over react that much. I could never get enough courage or nerve to go ahead and do this to my hair. It's like something that becomes a signature thing to you... it's a big change. Anyways girl you did good!!! 👏
YES for people with long hair, it's a lot of courage to cut it. Plus a lot of people criticize girls with short hair saying "that's not feminine that's not attractive" so esp for girls it's hard to cut our hair sometimes
EXACTLY. Hair is identity and any big change to it isn't easy to take in at 1st...and besides that this girl cut it for charity lol, people are over looking that to critique her being "dramatic". YOU CAN NEVER WIN...

honestly, short hair suits you better! im so proud of you, 2 months ago i went to the hair salon to cut my hair shoulder length but I got scared and cut it way longer, 1 month later I decided to do it myself and Ive cut even more and I love it so much, Im gonna cut it every once in a while to keep that length!
You look beautiful! I also donated my hair, about a year and a half ago. It was a few inches above my butt and I cut around 13.5-14.5 inches (I'm not so sure) It was really short and it's grown back super slow, but it feels incredible to do something to help others, and I'd do it again in a second. If anyone reading this is even considering donating hair the slightest bit, please do it! If your hair makes you feel beautiful, it can make someone else too. Your hair will grow, even if it takes a couple of months, but these poor women's hair will take years. Trust me, it's worth it. If you can possibly do something to help anyone, do it! You WON'T regret it ever
A few years ago during summer i donated my hair too! it is so much easier to brush and does not tangle... i still have really short hair, and i love it!
Why are people complaining? She still donated it! I have cancer and I have a human hair wig and they're amazing! I'm pretty sure all hair that is donated is appreciated because obviously any hair donated is better than none!
These videos make me happy and excited for my hair cut. My hair is in between 3-4 feet and I'm getting it cut up to my shoulders. I'm getting it on august 23, 2 days before school starts so everyone won't even know I got a hair cut till school. It gonna be so exciting!!!!!!!!!!! I'm also donating.
I recently chopped 16 inches off my hair to donate to Pantene Beautiful Lengths program! It feels so short now after it being so long but it was definitely worth it 💖

I really appreciate what you did. I would do this if I had enough long hair. My cousin passed away two months ago because of cancer... my gandma could have cancer too... I'm happy that some cancer patient could have some beautiful hair like your is! It surely will give him/her a smile!!!
I donated my hair a few years ago. I would do it again but I've dyed it over the time. Cutting your hair is liberating! You learn it grows back so fast and it is just hair. Beautiful video!!! x 💗

This was definitely not overreacting at all. My hair takes forever to grow, and i mean FOREVER. And i had it all the way down to my bottom and i cut it right under my shoulders and i cried i was probably more scared then you. Its completely normal to cry and be scared. Hair is what helps us feel pretty, and when you don't have that and have a whole new style that you have to get used to and feel pretty in. Its definitely hard. Congratssss! I love it!

People. Don't watch a reaction video if you'll just judge the person. Everybody has different reactions, even you. Who knows, maybe yours is worser. Just respect hers as she respects yours, whatever kind of reactions you have, even she haven't seen it yet but surely she will, just by her response on your criticism, you can see she's respectful. So, if you found yourself judging her already by her reactions, you can stop watching, record yourself cutting your hair short and watch it, so you'll judge no one but you.

I will not judge you for your reaction (I would react the same), the good part is that you are helping other people!! I wish I could let my hair grow and cut it off just to donate it, but I'm afraid they wouldn't accept it, as I straighten my hair almost every day... Such a nice gesture!
Well you looked well after the cut! I think experimenting with different looks is all part of the growing up experience. It really takes a while to find an image to present to the world, something we all struggle with no matter what age we are!
In my profile picture, my hair is in a ponytail and when it was down it was a bit longer than yours. I wanted to donate my hair, however the companies do not accept bleached hair so i had to cut off all my ombré. Im so excited to grow it out and donate it though! Its a great thing to do. All you have to do is simply grow your hair and cut it and you make a girl who doesnt have hair a million times happier. :)
I used to adore my long hair so I know how shocked you are! Amazing thing you've done which was a bonus turning something just for you for someone to benefit from as well (wanting to get it cut so you did but sent your hair to a good charity). loved the video, love the colour and love the new look!!!!

i donated to pantene beautiful lengths too last year! my hair was so long, i cut two 12 inch pony tails off to a short bob :) scary but im growing it out to do it again eventually! :) such a great cause!

My daughter donated her hair twice… At its max, it wasn’t half as long as your beautiful hair. And I feel very weird noticing how beautiful someone else’s hair is! LOL well done :-)
I also cut off basically all my hair and donated it, in the end I donated/cut off 17 inches. I honestly look like crap with short hair, but it was worth it to then see someone have more use of it then I ever had :)

for one, she can part it anyways she wants. Her hair, her face, her body, not yours. And for two, you can have volume in your hair, or hair products if you want to donate it, they won't take it. SMH.

That's a huge change cutting off 8 inches. Some people can't handle that much that change all at once. And maybe she doesn't want short hair. Maybe she likes it longer. Atleast she's doing it for a good cause.
