The Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta honored retiring Bishop Alexander with a Choral Evensong and Reception at the Cathedral of St. Philip. Diocesan Choir members came from 30 parishes through the diocese to perform. Dean Samual Candler, the Dean of the Cathedral of St. Philip, was the officiant and Bishop Michael Curry from the Diocese of North Carolina preached.
