Chorale St. Antoni:
This is the main theme written by Franz Joseph Haydn (1732- 1809). The simple but elegant theme has been made famous in the orchestral work "Variations on a Theme by Haydn" by Johannes Brahms (1833- 1897).
When I watched a TV documentation about Joe Zawinul, I heard Chorale St. Antoni for the first time . I knew immediately that I wanted to play this chorale. But I could not find a suitable arrangement for solo piano (the variations of Brahms are arranged for two pianos). That's why tried to arrange my own piano version.
I hope you like it!
Best regards, Dave
