Oh snap I just realized that I said modal interchange is when you borrow a chord from a relative mode. I meant to say when you borrow a chord from a PARALLEL mode. C minor is the parallel minor key for Cmajor. Sorry yall 😊
You can also think of the Gm - C - F as a secondary ii V into that F. Then there’s the minor ii V back into the Am. So instead of memorizing 6 different chords, you just remember 2: Am ii-V F ii-V. Love the videos man, and always appreciate the time you put into these lessons.

Tks so much, I have heard there cords hundreds of times, but never played them. Now they are in my head and I can’t remember the songs they are played in. You mention that you had a teaching program. Where do I find that information
That's a really good question. I'm still doing research on that at the moment to figure out which borrowed chords sound best. Maybe I'll make a video about it when I get the answer 😊
