Many have said that XG dances more like a dance crew. XG dance movements incorporates all parts of their bodies from head to toe (foot work). Who else dances using their elbows? Their synchronization, swag, formations, level changes, footwork, isolations, attitude and chemistry hits differently than other girl groups.
A big reason XG's choreo hits is because of the Choreographers they use. Group Competition level type Choreo. Sierra Laulau was the Choreographer for The Lab Dance Crew which was the 2018 Season winners of The World of Dance TV Show and Kiel Tutin who worked with the dance queen Parris Goebel and the Royal Family Dance Crew which Won 3 Straight World Hip Hop Championships. Next level dancers.
Just looking at the title I can already tell it’s gonna be XG lol - too much swag , confidence, facial expressions, hip hop movements that give off great dope vibes, not to mention the song isn’t a traditional kpop sound, it’s western and different from the other contenders in this mashup. Can’t beat that🔥🔥
I was a casual K-pop listener until XG came across. XG hits different vibe. They make me feel want to dance with them even though I’m not good at it. Love NewJeans too but XG’s dance is so satisfying and fun to watch, therefore I prefer XG. 💗
XG is the only GG I stan right now and what I love about them is that whether it was vocals, rap or dance, everything looks and feels like they are giving 200% of their energy. Also, they are the only hiphop gg right now and the way they dance is not just the typical idol dancing you see on music shows which I enjoy. The only problem with XG is we need more songs
I can't agree more. XG are the only ones that do hiphop and RnB justice. Not like others treating it as trend or doing it halfish or sounds like. That said that's why Mascara is not my cup of coffee. That's why "Left Right" the sound and beat is so dope, so chill and the vibe is on point💯. Not to mention the choreo, the moves are not difficult, it's just that vibe and that swag that you need (MUST HAVE) to make it look so damn good.
I think New Jeans can hold their own and they good but my preference is definitely XG .. theres just something about them theres no group doing what they do or sound how they sound .. also XG faced so much negativity/backlash for promoting in Korea by Netizens and I love how they are rising above all of that negativity and making their own way and people are becoming fans because of their music/vibes and how damn talented they are .. can’t wait to see them take over the world!! @@khouloudaithsain9215 I seen cookie choreo, and there’s no difference from attention..I prefer attention with this comparison between the two.. the way I see it and judge it..If we switch it and let XG do the attention choreo and let NJ do the Left Right choreo..I can bet that XG will makes the choreo more refine but still loose and poppy..but NJ will struggle to make Left right even better..In other words XG has more diversity in their dancing skills..

@@REDEMPTION46 tbf I probably would of chosen another 4th gen group like itzy or everglow but even then it’s hard to top xg. They are very advanced dancers, even the weakest dancer in the group is a strong dancer which just means you can give them harder choreo. Their teamwork is no joke 5-6 years of training together really paid off.
@@mrchow8025 I commented like 3 times already XG vs Everglow..We both thinking the same thing😂..The closest(well not close but put a fight)is Everglow..Itzy is good but when it comes to checking all the boxes of dancing skills wise they’ll missed something..especially lia is their weakest one..I’ll go with Everglow VS XG..But XG will win like you said.
@@mrchow8025 honestly if you really want a group of female k-pop idols to go up against XG and actually give them a run for their money. You would have to cherry pick the best dancers from multiple groups and have them train together for a few months. Then you would have a group that could compete with them in choreography.
I like NJ songs, but watching them perform/move is like watching a baby foal being born. Cute, but awkward asf. XG however, is a completely different category, they are truly dancers and a dance group, complex, sharp, clean, musicality up to the wazoo and the synchronisation is on point.

You can actually see XG's true skill even more emphasized in the fixed version of Left Right. That's the one all the dancer reactions use. What a heavyweight battle this is. Reminds me of NSYNC vs Backstreet Boys days. XG got that New Edition soul added in though 😄
XG is a power group all the way, XG’s dance choreo of Family affair by Mary J blige is one of their best, the choreographer for it was Aiki, you should react to that. XG is on another level.
Did you guys know XG's producer is an ex idol? Simon from Dalmatian, they were reaaally good, I think that's also why XG's as good as they're, cause Simon already went through all that and is actually always there helping them and treating them as all the companies should treat their idols!
@@삡-d2cno way sorry but i’ve never seen such a group in kpop industry. they are just ahead of the rest and their music is not created by Korean and completely different from Kpop music, all members are Japanese and owned by AVEX JPN so it makes full sense this is XPOP as they claim😊
love them both but XG all the way for me the hip hop and facial expressions plus how they were having fun and were so in sync you should do xg shooting star vs another NJ choreography
to the guy in red, New Jeans rotations to the center by the person singing are very simple nothing to see there. Pay attention to XG's rotations to the center by their members. They are sometimes far from it not only do they slide and jump into the center they do it way faster than any group. Their rotations and formations are more complex and not only that their spacing is perfect.
The two songs are very different and it's clear XG is filled with more seasoned dancers but it's still cool to see them side by side; it was a good reaction. Loved seeing the utter silence after that guy in the white said “I'm crushing”. I don't think it'll be easy to find dancers to compete with XG especially cause their style is different and honestly derives most of its inspiration from black movements and popular dances and so it's more free moving and intricate

But XG is like a female version of jabbawockeez. and their love for performing is always 100% apparent and ever present. they are definitely unique and their engrained pure swag will always put them over.
in the last year i learned 3 important things #1 DON'T compete with XG in a dance contest #2 DON'T play with RealMadrid on Tuesday>;Thursday #3 don't let XG do the cover any song, they eat CDs for breakfast
Xg is the girl version of jabbawockeez. Especially with their bucket hats in the mv, so this not even fair. Ya should of watch the fix version of left right tho.

Oh come on! NewJeans are 4th gen Kpop best rookies 👌🏼 XG are global girl group, dance master, vocally stable supremacy group, you cannot compare them they are far from each other. I love both and I love their music but it is more fair to compare NewJeans to Le Sserafim or IVE for Kpop rookies. But XG they are Xtraordinary Group, I haven’t seen a GG to date that this great ❤️👌🏼
NewJeans entire concept is to show young teen, high school girls making up a dance, looking less choreographed which appeals to their target audience. The producers don't want the group to look as polished as Le Sserafim for instance. When I see NJ dancing in their M/Vs, it reminds me of my daughter when she was in middle/high school when she was in dance classes. She and her friends would make up dances or copy Kpop dances during that time, late 90's and it looked very much like the way NJ does their movements and choreo. I have no doubt that like any other GG, they can do synchronized dances that are top tier. NJ is the anti overly choreographed GG, doing simple enough choreo for their fans to pickup and copy. That is brilliant. XG is possibly the best GG right now when you talk about synchronicity, awareness, seamless transitions. Not one weak dancer in the group. That heartbeat shoulder movement, the three girls in the back doing that slow motion walk while Hinata was doing her tippy tappy solo part. That opening and closing of the arms at the end of the song, c'mon! So simple, we've all done that, and they made it look so dang cool. There were so many parts that are so good in Left Right, I can't believe how chill the entire song and choreo is. I actually thought Left Right was one of their most relaxed choreos of all of their M/Vs despite the complexity, which speaks to the individual skills of the XG members. Cocona, Hinata and Maya, had their solo moments away from the group as well. Easy win for XG.
when I watch XG, I can only think of jabbawockeez as fair match up. Even other boy groups right now can't compete with poise amd control in their dance moves. There are great ways to express cuteness, aggression or swag in dancing. Other idol groups overdo those stuff and forget to move as a group.
we can all agree that nj vs xg is a no brainer. but on the same note, u cant really compare xg to jabba. just like xg to nj, jabba is a different level to xg.
all of the xg members are adults now or at least the only one that is a minor is turning an adult this year so i see how their concept and it’s seen more grown up but putting that aside xg choreo is crazy and super satisfying. the girls also have dance practices where there’s no camera movement and it’s the same cause they just know how to do it, xg choreo for me doesn’t seem like a girl group like they look like a dance crew to me which is a major compliment
I love NJ,But XG taking the trophy..When it comes to versatility of dance skills XG is way ahead.. I don’t even wanna talk about MOVE #1 by XG..That will blow them out of the water..If you put Everglow VS XG then that probably give them a challenge..But then again Everglow wouldn’t win..
it's not a Fairplay contest, New JEANS didn't stand a chance. XG ate it technically, visually and most crucially...THE VIBE. and if u use the fix version of the dance practice,the difference is HUGE

Oh nooo I love my New Jeans girlies alot, I honestly do, they're a breath of fresh air in Kpop's repetitive concept in terms of music and mvs. But good gracious! XG girlies are sooooo good. Immediately I was so hooked to their dance moves from the beginning itself. Their synchronisation, foot work and their vibe is sooooo good. They are so much fun to watch. I give 10/10 to XG and 7.5/10 to New Jeans.
NewJeans since debut have been highlighted for having fun and interactive choreo throughout, they’re doing different alternations of moves all the time instead of being mirror images to make it more open style, if anything Xg would look more rehearsed since they have sharper synchronized movements??? NewJeans has the most open style choreography out of 4th gen, and the only member I would say is stiff is hyein because she struggles with groove, nothing stiff about the rest :))
@@jeaniesroom Of course. Nobody is a natural at something. Dancing while making it look good takes many many rehearsals i.e. practice. But if you've practiced a lot, and it still looks stiff, then it's not good enough. When XG girls whip their bodies and arms and legs, there's definitely energy or swag. They look fluid. When New Jeans dances, it looks stiff and mechanical. When New Jeans does it, they look like a high school drill team or whatever whereas XG looks like the Laker girls or Raiderettes.
Ok they keep mentioning camera tricks but they chose the video they have a fixed camera version. In the fixed actually all 7 do the tilt in the video. I think XG experience in their 5 years of training really made them and also they had sienna lalau choreograph who is really well known in the street dance scene in america and western countries. XG is like a legit dance unit that even compete in competitions like world of dance and such
The best way to see XG in sync is the Fix version. The moving version is really good because is dynamical and emphasises more impactful parts but it kind of misses the choreo as a whole, at least for me 🤔but either way, XG wins for me 🤣
What kind of comparison is this. New Jeans looks like they still have more room to grow. XG already looks like a finished product. I bet choreographers are having a good day working with XG who will catch on things quickly and perfect it any minute

New dance would be a better choreo to match with Attention in terms of similar upbeat tones...but even then the new dance choreo would be the winner. XG just built different they all went thru battle to get where they are now so i have major respect for the mental n physical obstacles they overcame 🐺ALPHAZ🐺
I like XG's more personally, NewJeans is dope though, if you wouldve chose "OMG" instead, I whould defenitly chose newjeans but since it was attention I liked XG's more.
They both have different style choreographers, New Jeans utilizes more groovy old school loose and free flow while XG has choreographers that use newer movement with a full body, new age swag sort of attack. They’re so different I don’t think it’s so easy to say this or that. I feel like if anything they kind of owning their own lanes perspectively
