These guys are mega-talented but they don't take that for granted. In a vid about an upcoming show, Jin said that they practiced 10 hours a day for a month straight, but he would practice additionally on his own 'til 5am bc he's not a natural dancer like the other members. Learning choreo was hard for him. He wanted to be able to keep up with his band mates and not let them down. And, this is just the dance part of their show. They're so hardworking and humble. So inspiring.

I'm a dancer as well and there's definitely a separate type of videographers often with a dance background or just exp in the industry. The performance you mentioned was the grammys perf and that jacket move is tough to keep in sync because cloth props can always go haywire while turning and running around and all it takes is 1 person to be a lil off mark or timing and it's done.

Their MV for "Save Me" is a one-shot thing. Great camera work.

By the way, Jungkook is performing at the FIFA world cup tomorrow! So i think that song will be great too!

If you liked the camera work here, you might appreciate Save Me and the shooting sketch (behind the scenes) for it. The video was a one take of their dance routine and the cameraman had to weave through the members the whole time. It's fascinating and great fun to watch.

This is the reason why BTS is incomparable. They are the BEST! These seven young men- RM, Jin, Suga, J Hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook are talented individually and each one dedicated to their craft. As a group, their performances are unique and unmatched (if this is even the proper word). They embody excellence and perfection. And this dance practice is in preparation for the free concert that they had in Busan as South Korea's ambassadors for Busan's bid to host the World Expo. They also dedicated this concert to their fans, ARMY, before they continue on to Chapter 2 (military enlistment, solo projects) before regrouping in 2025 (crossing my fingers that this plan does not change). No other artist values and respects their fans more that BTS does! I am a 49-year mom of two boys (24 and 20), I'm a healthcare professional, and a proud ARMY since 2020. These boys have given us all much more than their music. They are good humans - inspiring, humble, kind. They normalize everything good in a music industry that elicits violence, sex, or drugs. And it is so refreshing and sort of healing almost. I will always support all 7 of them! Thank you for reacting to their contents. 💜

There are videos of almost every dance choreography from each of their songs. Keep in mind these are practices not rehearsals and there's a difference. There are only a few videos where you get a peak at their learning process. By the time they get to dance practices they've got the choreography down and they're just polishing it.

It was the worst weather - raining and very cold - the MV was one shot (but many takes). Nice reaction 💜. The Butter performance was for the Grammys btw. I did really like the camera work on this one but just a heads up most of the other ones are a still camera. They are also nice as you see the dance is a more raw way. This dance practice is one of my favorites though 🔥

There was a rumor back in 2017 that the Jabberwockies were BTS. Their skill level if off the charts. I watched a before the show interview with Trevor Noah. Some fans asked what it was like to meet BTS? He cracked a few jokes at first and then he got serious and talked about how nice they are. Trevor said: That they are so efficient, so precise, BTS are as performers and then he said, "I'm not trying to throw shade or anything, but I was like man, NSYNC got away with shit."

If you are interested in an awesome behind the scenes MV, I recommend watching Save Me and the filming of the MV. It was a one shot video and the cameraman had to bob and weave his way between the members as they danced.

3:36 there’s a live performance with a stationary camera from in front of the stage and it even BETTER than how the camera is shooting it right now lol I prefer the full picture bc we miss so many things with all these zoom ins bc the choreo is made to be seen from full stage . The camera is only doing this bc it was a rehearsal for his the camera would move during this performance at the free concert. The same thing kinda happens in the “on kinetic manifesto” but again once we got to see the dance practice zoomed out with a stationary camera.. it was so much better bc there’s so much going on and creative formations that we miss without the full shot

Why BTS have army all over the world?....Because they are The Biggest Boy Group in the world with more than 700 award ( and still counting till now)...They are multitalented dancing ,singing, rapping and still humble with fans and others....No one can Deny it......Army all over the world always support and defend BTS ...because they love their fans too

Korean music show cameramen are super talented at what they do. They get a lot of guff, but all you have to do is compare their work to shows that aren't used to filming the dancing and performance to see it. Like compare Seventeen's performance of "Hot" on Jimmy Kimmel to literally any of their Korean shows of the same song. Worlds of difference!

This is why we always ask for dance practices and live performances but you guys tend to mostly do music videos which is really such a minor step stone even with the amount of money they take to make… BTS is ALWAYS better live… wether that’s dance practices or live stages… you guys haven’t seen like 60% of who BTS is bc you haven’t seen very many videos of them performing live really. To me, this dance practice is on ANOTHER LEVEL! It's truly amazing. The choreography, the back-up dancers, the camerwork, all of it is incredible. I continue to be blown away by these guys! I think the part where the back-up dancer takes off his shirt/jacket and Jimin takes the arms of the shirt, it looks like the front of a motorcycle to me. Maybe that's the look they were going for? You really need to see the making-of video for Save Me(watch first before the MV, then MV to see result. You also really need to see INTRO PERFORMANCE TRAILER, where BigHit cameramen show how a TV broadcast that did the group dirty, SHOULD have done their jobs. Like the group, BigHit threw shade with class. It's an iconic performance AND video that shouldn't be missed.

if you like to watch practice videos then i recomment you to watch "BTS (방탄소년단) 가요대제전 Intro performance Trailer" video. In 2014 they did a live performance where the camera work was so bad that their CEO, Bang PD, decided to show that TV channel what good camera work actually is! this is part of the mistreatment that BTS had to deal with in their debut days
