Yes! I am a proud introvert too. Be careful who you tell, because many will see this as something to "fix". American/Western thinking is determined to label your personal preferences for quiet and peace as a new disorder in the DSM. Because they love you, they will feel a call to action to get you out of that funk! It might take 2 to 30 weekend sessions, but you'll know if you've been fully rehabilitated when you're steadily out on the town, hooking up and hung over. You have graduated! My poor tormenters . . .I mean "friends" were very sorry they tried to take on a case like mine. Got to me too late. I was too far gone. It was terminal.
I agree it does become exhausting, first I thought it was because I am an introvert but five years ago I realize not only am I an introvert I am an Empath……High energy negative people I simply cannot be around.
Staying home over the last two years had an unexpected effect for me. I now find the passive aggressive behaviour of people I used to be able to tolerate has become particularly grating. It disturbs my peace to the extent I have blocked phone numbers and don't answer calls if I don't recognize the number.
Yes I'm the same way- it is very exhausting! At times it's so overwhelming that I pray and ask the lord to please remove these demonic people out of my life at any means and I should not think this upon anyone- do understand what I mean? Do you get physically ill from them people? U know like negativity and negative vibes? Lol we stick out like a lightbulb in darkness. Even when we’ve tried to fit in, we stood out. It’s so amazing when we run into someone that’s similar to us. It’s so relieving. When we hurt, it’s bad but when it’s good..it’s SO good. Yep we’re sensitive..That’s why it’s so important for us to submit to/connect with God. Sadly many get into drugs or worse trying to escape this reality. I know I did when I was younger. I’m so grateful He didn’t let me get too far. 🙏🙌🏽💜
I worked at a restaurants for 5 years as Ambassador. The employees told me to not care what other people think. But That’s not Me. I’m a people person. I can sense things. I finally quit & I couldn’t stop crying for 10 days. I am very sensitive. I didn’t feel appreciated.

People always say "you give people way too much room or you let things slide too much" They don't understand that other ppl can say and do whatever but I can't. When I say things it holds more weight and I live with the guilt. Going out of my way to be malicious towards someone whether they deserve it or not never ends well and then I feel guilty. Same here I can’t help it. They say “you’re too easy”. It’s not that I don’t know what’s going on but I can’t react like other people. And it will never matter how mean the person is, my initial reaction is always to feel punched in the stomach. I won’t dish it back the way it’s done to me and I never will :)
Yes, I've always wondered why I couldn't get away with doing stuff. It's like if I am sarcastic or erupt bc I am tired of taking BS after awhile, you'd think I killed them with a physical weapon. I'm like huh?? Ppl have told me my words are like a cleaning agent. I am starting to understand it.
Sensitive yes when you can discern other humans (and see who and what they really are) and empathetic is great because you are one with others (in spirit). But it also proves something far greater: we do not like hurting others. In other words, the VEIL that creates the illusion that we are separate one from the other and God and nature does not apply to us. We think about how we talk or approach people and feel guilty when we do wrong because we FEEL connected to all people and all things/nature. Think of it this way: bullies bully people because they see themselves as superior (or "acting" superior whilst covering their inferiority). If they truly felt connected to others, they wouldn't bully in the first place. If I like myself and like others, I wouldn't be a bully because I am aware that my actions will hurt the other person. Bullies lack this self-awareness. And yes, I have been told NUMEROUS times I am "too sensitive". AND HERE IS THE IRONY: these people ALWAYS come near us when they need a "shoulder to cry on" because we are sensitive!!!! They hate our sensitive when it is the discerning way but love it when it is "can I cry on you" way!!! Think about it!
I'm extremely sensitive. I used to cry and ask God why did He give me a heart like this. I didn't want to be this way, and even told God to take it away from me and give it to someone else. I had to learn to balance my gift. I don't make myself convenient to people so they can dump their negative energy on me. I'm still highly sensitive but only to the fear of God. I use to cry to and ask why he gave me the heart I have and I even asked to be mean like a real B and I just can't unless it's in self defense but even then it has to be real extreme. I have always chosen to go the other way. I felt stupid for years for being this way but I have been praying and staying the word A LOT and I know understand more about myself. At first it was shocking, than I feared it, I was scared an now I'm accepting so many gifts that felt like touture that God gave me only to now realize I AM BLESSED.

I hear what you are saying about being disciplined from God but another perspective is that we will continue to get attacks until we are on the right path - you can see the attacks as trying to dissuade you from reaching your anointed destiny. You can use them as signs that you are CLOSE to your destiny. So if the attacks are suddenly "ramping up" or everything is suddenly not going smoothly (and I do mean everything), you are getting closer to your end goal. When the devil thinks you are almost there, he will go nuts and try to wreak havoc in your life.

The sensitivity is brutal. It has taken me decades to manage it. I am also clairvoyant and have the other clairs. Being able to feel others energy has been tough. Absolutely true. If I go into a bar even if I don’t have any alcohol, the “spirits” in those places are overwhelming. I spent years being a doormat because people know I’ll do the “right” thing. Once I read scripture and saw that Jesus ignored some, flipped tables on others while letting others slap his face. His responses promoted awareness and learning in the method that would best be heard
Also when my husband was cheating and I didn’t know it, I felt sick being the same room with him. When we would have sex it drained me for days because he had all these foreign spirits in his exchange for my pure energy. Listen to your gut. He was so good at hiding it that I even questioned myself before him. Unbelievable after 5 yrs still can’t get divorced from him without losing something for trying to save myself.

Thank you for this words, I really need it today. I always sense and observed things. I hated people who doesn’t know how and what to speak. And especially if you gave them too much and when the time you needed help, they are not there. I cried because I feel I’m Overly sensitive and I hate this feelings because I don’t like it. 😢 I felt that I easily get hurt with simple things because the expectations are not met. I easily hurt when they don’t know the right and good thing to say to others. Now I realized I need to be alone so that I have peace. I pushed people away when especially I observed the vibrations that are not good in my well being 😢

The reason why I was never invited to parties that had drugs and alcohols because god doesn’t want me to go there.I have been treated like shit by other people when I was being nice to them. Now that I I don’t have those people because god wanted me to move away from them. I am feeling a little bit free.

100%. The moment we step out of line, it's like instant Karma hits and we know deep down inside why it's hitting. It's like "Oh Karma you saw what I did. Thought you wouldn't catch me this time hehe". I think it teaches us to not fall out of line so much and become better versions of ourselves.

When i was small child, I used to think I was adopted. My own mother rejected, physically emotionally and verbally abused me. Imagine calling a 3 yr old the B -word... and by the time I was 5 yrs old, I knew there was "something out there." ❤
I am a big empath. I could never get over any of my pets dieing. It would take me a few weeks to function. If I had a job. I couldn't go to work for a few days. I have always worried about my close family members getting sick and dieing. I am a care giver by trade. Ive takin care of sick people starting at a young age. I worked in hospitals and nursing homes starting at 18 years old. Then as I got older I just did home health with just two people to care for verses 15. But I do have to say. As I got older I realized I have more empathy towards any animal then humans. I'm of course 54 now and have alot of experience working with people. People are hard to deal with. I just feel more for all animals!

My kid's are in a house where they can't take a shower & still just drink protein drinks cause there used to be roaches in the microwave/frig/oven! No one cared that I was WRONGED SO MUCH! You are right..i don't like the sight of bad negative ugly people me..its suffocate me..i very easy bored..my cousin people treat me bad..stealing and bully, always wants my thing and steal it..bcuz I m the only child and always got more, and grandmother love me..and my cousin just jealous..my grandmother my mom and my dad..who serve me and love me the most. Sometimes I can pick up on certain things and some things I want to b wrong about like I hate when I'm vibing with a person and I sense set up and find out it really was going to b one its good in a way to get warnings but it hurts who the warnings its about example if u in a relationship and u sense cheater but u love that person and u know that warning is given to u to go ahead and let go we have the hardest job as chosen ones we have to master letting go even if it hurts before we get hurt
Yes anytime I do something wrong I get corrected so fast. It's like the standards are higher for me.now I know why. Set apart.was never really accepted by my mom's or fathers family. Felt it since I was a child.
I’m an Empath and probably chosen. I’m not going to label myself as chosen. God is the only one that knows that. The Bible says we do not have to walk with those that are not. I have one true friend and I’m 65. Everyone else a potential enemy. I’ll let them in if they pass my highly intuitive self. I help everyone that needs it within reason but, I do not suffer fools. Every psychiatrist or psychologist has told me that I am intimidating once I walk into a room of other individuals.They all reported, just my presence was intimidating without saying a word. I never understood why everyone was starting at me. They still do. The mental health professionals saved me in a way. I do not care anymore. Go ahead and stare. I was literally just talking about this. I’m not sure if that’s why I’m sensitive to sunlight but it burns when I feel the suns ray within like 5 secs. People say it feels good and I’m like 🥲😵. I stay at home mostly because of the feeling someone is watching and negative vibes also sunlight and bright lights loud noise etc. Oil and water don’t mix.
