Fakie-wheelie down a steep concrete slab. And the very technical climb up that extremely steep and rocky hill. Your skills never seize to amaze me, Chris.
I love hearing the sound! It’s great to hear all the sounds of the bike, the tires, the spokes occasionally pinging. Don’t usually hear that in videos! 😀👍
Chris Akrigg, you are a Mountain Biking God amongst mortals, you keep rewriting the rules of what's possible on a bike and it's jaw-dropping in it's beauty. Long may you ride and inspire...🤘
The uniqueness of Chris Akrigg videos lies in the fact that they cater to the rider. Only as a rider you can truly appreciate how incredible each second of the video is, because each move is so above and beyond what the average guy can pull off.
How is this not getting more views? This guy is a genius and the effort he puts into riding up those hills, its a wonder the frame doesnt snap. You get the feeling that if Chris hit a tree the tree is going to lose.
I love the back wheel fakie, it was so well shot and so well priced together. Another incredible video, also that quick realer log catch was amazing, a little bit of everything, so cool
His trials skills are off the hook! Kind of makes me wonder why more people aren't riding some of the nicer Mongoose bikes. I haven't seen any in Arizona.
Are you saying that because it's the first time you've seen it? Because I would be surprised if Chris really did "invent" it. I've seen it lots from UK street trials riders in the '00s, but I would imagine it originated in the competition trials scene - both of which Chris was active in.
As always, your skills and the film work shine. Your dedication to your sport is to be admired. Great job, keep em coming and thank you for sharing with us.
That's it - the dream-like ease. Like swimming underwater without the need to breathe. Walking in ten-meters long steps. Or - in Chris's case - going uphill or up the obstacles seemingly (almost) without pedalling.
So many good skills in this edit! I loved the pedal stall hop up onto the tree, and the boulder quarter pipe manual, met Chris at the bike show back in 2003 at a guess at the nec in brum, I managed to get him hawsey and Martin Ashton to sign my newly bought fox racing cap, which Ashton said he wanted to keep as it was so nice 🤣, top guys! 🙌🏻
