It's important for people to see these types of videos. It's showing the reality of trial and error... from the BEST of the BEST riders out there. Chris, my hat's off to you man. Keep at it.
It is absolutely both incredible and inspiring to see someone with such skill show a compilation of only fails on RU-vid. It is this willingness to fail and humbleness to show it that has truly made him great.
great job never give up I could never do what you do I am 46 old man just got on bike 8 months ago I can do great wheelies turning but manuals OMG I watched a kid doing it amazing I could only dream about being as good as you guys keep it up!
Thanks for shedding some comon sense on the matter. I keep thinking '' who are these loosers (that probably can't even do a trackstand) posting stuff like that? Nothing worth doing is acheivable without practice. I think Chris and this video are an inspiration.
And you don't think Danny has ever met a step he couldn't conquer? He always admits that it often takes several tries to get the final trick for the video, you just don't see the fails. But I think this is important because it shows that even though he didn't get it, he gave it his best and tried it several times where most people would have said it couldn't be done!
Hey Chris were you filming @ Lee Quarry m8 i reconise a lot of areas you film in as the Mary Townley is my local haunt from one slayer loving hard rocker to another hope to see ya on the trails. P.S. hope your feeling better after your off it looked nasty
Respect is the first thing you learn out on the trails. Bullshits is the first thing people learn on the internet...is pretty obvious that people blathering about who is better of who, or what he Chris should or should not do, are just you know some of those "couch heroes"..people who never really got a scar trying anything beside clicking on a mouse button. Every rider or sport guy can only admire talents like Danny and Chris. That's it.
Ridiculous line fair play Chris, I don't think people realise how much harder it is with this sort of run in. You need serious power and technique to even get anywhere near it!
Is that orange bike he is using without any brakes just a test-practice trial bike designed just for this kind of thing? Never really seen a bike like that before.
how the fuck do you ride trials brakeless? Chris Akrigg is a freak. Im glad they put the outtakes in there though so you can at least get a sense that even for Chris it can take a few trys.
I dont get something!? (o.O)... Im so new to trial biking that i havent even saved up to get a bike yet... but even i know that I would be making myself uglier if i didnt have breaks on a bike.... how is this guy controling the bike when he's still.. I thought you needed the breaks to do certain stunts but in other vid's Akrigg is doing things that im sure you would need breaks for... Im very inpressed but you cause me much BRAIN ACKE Chris Akrigg =p
Chris inspired Danny anyway so I don't really know why everyone is comparing them, Chris is also a much better Mountain Biker compared to Danny. So they even each other out
Hey dillweed, don't bust up the side of a natural mountain. Go create some artificial crap with some boxes if you must. Ps didn't look like your tires were gripping all that well in the rain. You are bright.
Donkey2883 he rides with no brakes to save weight and because for that stunt they were unecissary. He probily runs brakes in his other stunts. On that stunt he removed the brakes so that they wouldent be damaged after the beating he gave the bike trying to preform that trick
no he wouldn't have, he does neither his tricks for the first time mostly, especially things like this, which are tried to do for the first time! get a little background knowledge, and know that also, that one of Danny's exemplar is Chris, he inspired Danny to do things like this....
