Couple of things; Firstly for best results watch in full HD 1080 50P. Sorry guys for no engine noise as the microphones on the cameras don't work in slow motion.
Bloody awesome. I'm proud to say I used to go for the odd MTB ride here and there with Chris. He's an 'alien' when it comes to his skills; so far removed from all the other best riders I know, it leaves you speechless. A proper good bloke too. Hate the fella! ;-)
Spectacular footage. Incredible riding skills through beautiful landscapes. I am finding it hard to resist the allure of the 1190 adventure R. If only I had the cash and the skills to ride it.
amazing to see the potential in such a big bike, but I guess it is all in the rider would be really interesting to see him handle an old rancid bike with soggy suspention and see what he can get out of it. maybe even a street bike
JoeJoe Moto I hear you on that... I had to double check if the "out takes" were really out takes.... :P Chris makes the KTM 1190 look so light and small.
may i please ask what tires were mounted on that bike during the video? They look like aggressive knobbies, and i'd like to try those on my DR650 since they look like they are capable tires for such a heavy bike.
Hi, sorry but i'm a beginer in Off road. I want to know which tires use on his bike. I have a 1290 SAS and I'm looking for a good grip doing Off. I must to say I'm from Bcn city and when i want to do Off Road I need to do quiet miles before
Can you repost the video without the music? Being able to heard the engine would be very useful, like when Chris is hill climbing at 2:45 and is probably feathering the clutch.
+Finnishboy000 Just because something looks in normal speed it doesn't mean it is shot at normal speed, When filming Chris Birch I frequently film whole sequences in slow motion so I can slow portions down of the shot. For example in this video the opening riding up the creek sequence was shot in slow motion, sped back up to normal speed and then slowed as he closed in on the camera.
