When i first saw him in the dunk contest when he was with the hornets, i know down the line he was goin to become a beast! one of the best shot blockers in the NBA, and probably the biggest energy and momentum buster any team could have~!
I totally agree with it. He has been through difficult times where everybody judged him and he returned playing like nobody else and made those who didn't believe in him swallow their words.
It's not the blocks that I admire him about, it's the heart and the courage he has. I wish I have half the heart he had. I love players that had something to prove so they work their ass off to prove everyone wrong.
LOL @ all the hater comments. Stop being so critical and just enjoy!!!! Birdman likes to have fun, and I like to watch players having fun. Rodman was one of the most amusing players in the NBA, but he was also labeled as a menace. Some people also think Kobe is cocky and arrogant. He is just damn good. Haters find any reason to bash. IGNORE!! Birdman is cocky but he also entertains... that is what the NBA is ultimately about.
This guy is my favorite! He is a lot of fun to watch> it is amazing that he came from a tiny school in texas. my school played him! I heard he wasnt this good in high school but thats pretty cool.
great video...the bird is DEFINITELY the word...I'm happy that Chris has had such a great season and I'm proud of the Nuggets fans embracing him the way they have...he deserves it after everything he's been through...now here's to hoping we can get him a ring at some point as well! :o) Whether it's the Rockets or the Lakers...we're gonna give 'em a hell of a fight in the next round! :o)
Awesome man. I was born in Minnesota but raised in Colorado and I grew up with the nuggets and oh and nice game last night. Very close and a great game to get your blood pump'n. One of the most entertaining games ever.
im from oklahoma and im going to watch the nuggets come to the okc thunder. kinda sad when im a nuggets fan, but who can resist the birdman. hes just great. NUGGETS FTW!!!!!! go birdman!
Coming from a Laker Nation fan, we love him out here. Gave us headaches in the Western Conf. Finals. Good to see a white boy with game and some serious Hops, let alone what Chris has gone through the past few years. Reminds me a lot of Rodman with a bit more Offense - minus the harsh tactics. He can come to L.A. anytime you know.
Chris Andersen and Andrei Kirilenko are the best white shot blockers of this generation, and probably one of the best all time. They happen to be my 2 favorite players, AK47 first and Birdman second. AK47 because of his all around play- blocks, steals, assists, rebounds, points, and 3s. The comeback of Birdman is a great story and I hope he stays in the NBA for a long time and reject many, many more shots! One thing to note- Birdman and AK47 are not necesarily that tall- Bird-6'10 Ak-6'9 but
One of the best energy boosters off the bench in the NBA. Guys like Birdman and Shannon Brown give spark to the bench and really help out the team's cause. ;)
they have tremendous athleticisim, timing and anticipation, not to mention hustling to try to block everything, and this is what separates them and other players like this, from other players.
man after the 09-10 season you need to make another video of all his blocks and dunks. kinda like this one but an updated version. and choose sick songs like this video has.
people dont realize that if he didnt do coke for a min, and he had a good offensive coach to personally coach him, and actually got some minutes, hed be the white dwight howard. his athleticism is crazy. look at his hops!!
