As a pats fan, the roster is a couple years away, and Brady doesn’t have a couple years to wait. Couldn’t be happier for him and there isn’t anyone more deserving of everything he has accomplished. Best 20 years of my life, we will never see this again

Most Pat's fans are all for Brady. He gave us 20 wonderful years, and was treated like crap at the end by Belichick and Kraft. He deserves all he can get, and Belichick/Kraft they way they let him leave. He didn't leave for money, he left because Belichick couldn't get good offensive players around him. Even Welker and Edelman were cheap acquisitions that Tom developed by years of off season work.

@@paulthesoundguy1 is that why New England has the oldest defensive roster by 5 years?? Brady left due to lack of respect from Bill, it had very little to due with Kraft. Only issue Brady had with Kraft was he let go of Antonio Brown, leaving him with Edelman and nothing but rookies for WR's. He was hella unhappy with Bill for trying to trade him after a super bowl win and for causing Gronk to retire prematurely.

Why do people think Patriots fans are anything but ecstatic for Brady, just because he left (and rightfully so)? There are a massive amount of people that got Buccs shirts as soon as they came out. Understand we watched him grow up in football and witnessed in person his greatness at the game,and become the Man, Player and Family Man that he is. He and Gronk are my favorite players and will be. I am so happy for the Buccs, they certainly deserve this. Brady works miracles under pressure, particularly in the Playoffs! ANYONE who would even attempt to deny it is flat out trippin! Haters, all of you, just be quiet, sit back and watch this boy and All of the Buccs Team dazzle you and admire it. No reason to hate any players in the NFL. Watch, he’s gonna win it and he’ll get his 7th ring.

As a Pats fan since 1963 I am routing for Brady. And I will forever be thankful for the 20 years where other NFL teams didn't pencil in a win when the schedule was released. In a perfect world. both Brady and the Pats would be in the bowl this year and... the Superbowl would end after 57 quarters in a 57-57 tie. But this is real life so. We(the pats suck again, and Brady is going to give the Bucs back to back Superbowls. Good for him I hope he makes it.

Lifelong Pats fan from MA. Meand just about everyone I know have been rooting hard for Brady want him to win because he is all class and gave us 20 amazing unforgettable years.I love the guy and don't blame him for leaving. Belichick didn't appreciate him and as a GM Belichick has made some really terrible desicions the past few years we would not have been a Super Bowl contender even with Brady he would have had no weapons this year. Belichick could have drafted DK Metcalf, AJ Brown or Terry McLaurin instead of Harry and Nick Chubb instead of Sony Michael. If we had some weapons around him I beleive he would still be here. Brady absolutely deserved better they should have done way more to put solid offensive weapons around him . The talk of who is more important is stupid though it took the combination of both of them to have that historical 20 year run they are both legands.

As a Pats fan I’m ecstatic for Brady. In Maine, they broadcast most of the Bucs games and I have enjoyed watching them while at the same time watching my Pats. It’s given me something to be invested in as the Pats season ended early this year. It might take 2+ years(if at all)for the Pats to get back to serious playoff aspirations so if Brady can bridge that gap by playing well in Tampa(a team that is not a natural rival) then great.

New England should have won 3 or 4 more SB's if Belichick had gotten Brady either better WR's or some edge rushers so that POS QB's like Eli Manning and Nick Fowles don't outduel him because Brady had to go against much better DEF in SB, while his opp QB had ALL DAY TO FIND THEIR RECEIVERS. Before TB became starting QB for NE, Boston was in such a dry spell. A 15-year championship drought with no near end in sight. It was so miserable and desperate that we held a rally for Ray Bourque winning a Stanley Cup FOR ANOTHER TEAM IN ANOTHER CITY SOME 2,000 FREAKIN MILES AWAY. But then TB opened the floodgates for Boston/NE championships by winning SB 36. And the rest was literally history. So now, after a 20-year service which produced 6 titles out of 9 SB trips, he has left NE and has a chance to win another one FOR ANOTHER TEAM IN ANOTHER CITY JUST 1,341 MILES AWAY? Whenever he's breathing I would be rooting for good oxygen to do good things for his respiratory system, let alone win a Super Bowl. GO TOMMY!

I've been a Pats fan for 40+ years, Wanted Grogan to get a ring....wanted Bledsoe to get his own ring. As for Tom being in Tampa now, I guess I'll just have to be a temporary Tampa fan. I don't think that Tom needed or even wanted the extra money. They had no chance this year and Tom knew it. That being said, I'm still a Pat's fan and will probably always be one. P.S. I've got nothing bad to say about Bill. Not sure where Eisen gets the idea Pats fans don't like him.

I dont know... you don’t think they would have a better record than the ravens, colts or Cleveland? Maybe more of those players that opted out would have played... maybe gronk would have returned or maybe AB would have returned (that might be a stretch), but I wouldn’t be surprised. Maybe Brady would have good matchup with some no name they acquired. I think they would have had a better record than 7-9.. maybe 10-6 or 11-5. I can’t see them suckering out completely... not at least making the playoffs...

Are you kidding? Pats fans think it's great. We've been hearing two things all year: 1) "Brady's washed up" and 2) "Belicheat can't win without Brady." There is nothing Pats fans want more than for both Brady and Belichick to win SBs without each other. This is going to be Phase One, and Phase Two will happen in a year or three. I don't think fans of teams that lose all the time are capable of understanding this goodwill. They know only bitterness and recrimination, and just assume that must be how everyone else thinks too. But it's not. It seems like a pretty miserable way to go through life in fact.

The Pats roster is bad right now, and, before all of the opt-outs, the cap space wasn't there to re-sign Brady and surround him with weapons. Prior to covid, the Patriots were facing a brutal cap crunch (entered the offseason with less than $5 million, iirc). This Pats team wasn't a contender, with or without Brady, and deeeep cuts would have been necessary to be able to afford to re-sign him, making the team even worse. Bill made the right decision for the rebuild and the future of the team, it's just a painful decision in the moment. That being said, I, along with the overwhelming majority of Pats fans, want to see Tom and Gronk get another ring. You don't have to be bitter at Bill to still want to see Brady win.

Stop with that sold out BS. We Pats have been in the Superbowl conversation for 20 years. With Brady we went to 13 conference championships in his 18 starting seasons. Think about that. Why is it just now we have a cap problem?
