I like to think of myself as an objective LeBron fan (NOT part of the 3-6 mafia lol) - I don't have any sympathy for him and I can't ride with him on this. He knew what he was getting himself into when he went to LA (roster, etc.) so miss me with the excuses. I still think the Lakers have a chance to make the playoffs but he needs to realise that HE needs to be better too

Laker games have the most views all over the world now because of the chaos and drama despite not being a playoffs Team. Signing rondo lance javale gets you high ratings too. This year was all about drama and entertainment and get fans interested in the lakers.

SCTV912 I’m fine with that. I’ve been patient with the rebuild of the Lakers for almost 9 years now, and Lebron definitely took us back even further. We will never be as cohesive as GS or even Sacramento at that. I was actually excited watching the Lakers last year and now all Hope is Lost. Bron’s past his Prime, and all he brings is Drama and deflection to the Laker Organization.

Zo, BI and Kuzma are all talented players and giving them minutes in a playoff series will be good for their development. Also since you do adamant about not winning, what you want them to do? Tank? Lonzo makes a lot of difference. When he was playing they were a top 7 defense. Zo got better throughout the season with his playmaking and running the team as well. He’s definitely the 2nd most valuable player on the team.

Trevel The Critic No he is not... Kuzma is. Lonzo does get a lot of hate to the point he has been underrated this season I’ll say that. You can tell who actually watches before he got hurt he had 3-5 efficient games with nice stats, and it’s clear he works on his game. I’d say he is the 4th most important player on the team.

JJ Edwards I’m gonna have to disagree with you. I think Lonzo is the 2nd most valuable literally because of his defense alone. They go from 7th to 30th without him. We know he can’t score but he’s still a decent offensive player by pushing the pace and his playmaking. Looking at Kuzma he’s the clear 2nd best scorer and even 2nd option next to lebron, but taking him away doesn’t deplete the offense like taking away Lonzo depletes the defense. Now whereas Lonzo is serviceable offensively, Kuzma is one of the worst defenders in the league. That’s why I say Lonzo is more valuable even though Kuzma is the 2nd option to Lebron.

Mosope Akindele exactly they went from 1st in pace when lebron was hurt to last in place now that Lonzo is hurt. A slower pace should mean a statistically better defense but even the defense is atrocious now. Crazy

Adam V they didn’t fall to the worst Defense because of one player... what’s misleading about stats especially that one is that they had the 7th best Defense WITH Bron, Rondo, Lonzo, McGee. Lonzo alone didn’t deplete the Defense it was injuries to all 4 that depleted the Defense. I think Lonzo as of now is the 4th best player there is no way he is on Rondos level offensively or has the same Defensive intensity. In a scoring league you get rid of Kizma during that stretch Bron was hurt they wouldn’t have won any games.

I understand that our Lakers weren’t considered championship contenders, but we have talent on this roster. We won 35 games last year with Lonzo and Ingram missing significant games due to injury. I also understand that LeBron missed 17 straight games this season. We were the 4th seed and although we were starting to play better, the media needs to stop spreading this narrative that the Lakers were a bonafide 4th. We were a handful of games of sitting at the 8th spot when LeBron was HEALTHY. Look at the Clippers and how they tumbled after a hot start to the season and they’ve been more consistent throughout the season. Even after trading away Tobias Harris and few other players, they’ve been more consistent. The media keeps talking about perimeter shooting, but the real problem is the Lakers are inconsistent defensively, commit too many turnovers at the worst times, and we suck at shooting FTs! We can score the basketball just fine! LeBron can’t point fingers at others because he’s just as much part of the problem! The last 3-4 seasons LeBron has pointed fingers at everyone except himself. At some point you have to look in the mirror and see that you are part of the problem....but also part of the solution.

Before Christmas they look like a deep playoff contender, Chirstmas day defeating the Warriors in awesome fashion, LeBron goes and then the combined psychological drama from trade rumors shake the young core at the ABSOLUTE WORST stretch of the season, and they end up sliding to 10th in the standings.

Lablame James was way out of bounds for those comments. Those types of things should only be voiced in the locker room. Ridiculous. How do you expect these guys to get pumped up to play with you when they know he was trying to get them traded a few weeks ago. That’s crazy. LeBron is their biggest offensive threat and their biggest defensive liability. He’s just another James Harden. Real Kings/Leaders take the same credit in wins that they do in losses. I have always agreed with Chris but I'm sorry not on this one. I don't care. I agree with Bron. Trust me, if Kobe said this, people would've said :" that's memba mentality, he's a tough guy and blah blah"... but when it's lebron he's too hard.. LeBron has given up I think. Ever since his comments of he has really nothing left to do ... I think he just wants to play until his body gives out but not commit to winning a ring. That’s just how I see it. He may never agree with that, but he is acting like that’s the case. Or he’s regretting choosing the Lakers over Philly.
