Rob Parker lmao. We all know if you swapped KD with lebron you'd be yelling into the mic about his legacy taking a hit. One of the most biased reporters I've ever seen.
@@hattyhat only if LeBron wins it all this year as the best player averaging his normal average in the playoffs at sge 38...THEN it's finally a real debate if he does that I'll listen to all arguments... you've got to counterbalance that Dallas finals disappearance... with a win those circumstance Jordan's goat case becomes a lot more my asthenic opinion than anything else
Rob needs to apply the same excuses to Lebron. LeBron was taking lottery teams to the Championship, Durant has been super team hopping for the last 5 years….no excuse.
Yea he talks about how Brady went 10 years without winning a championship but doesn’t talk about how he went to 2 championships during those years. Rodger’s is pushing a decade and a half from his only championship 🤣🤣🤣 dudes a ding dong
Rob is exactly like skip bayless, they have their favorites and will defend and make excuses for them till the end, when they hate certain players they will bash them for every single thing.
Skip Bayless is much less of a hater about Lebron James. He trolls people about him, but he also often praises James. Rob Parker on the other hand is a true believer, a true hater.
So if KD isn't top ten because he lost in the second round does that also mean Giannis, Curry, Luka and Embiid aren't top 10 either? You guys are literally still mad KD went to golden state and you guys can't get off his nuts. KD lost in round 2, so be it. Doesn't mean the man isn't a top 10 player anymore. Take his nuts out your mouths, KD averaged 29 10 and 5 vs the Nuggets. The Lakers just got the broom stick vs the same team.
Idk what you are talking about. Chris is one of the biggest KD haters there is. He never picked the Suns he just said they should win or KD's "legacy" takes a hit. I guess Giannis isn't top 10 either then since he lost to the 8th seed in round 1?
By pointing out his terrible luck? He's just been unlucky he led the playoffs in minutes played his team was complete garbage outside of Devin booker its no excuse for last night but quit acting like every time his team loses its his fault it was unforseen circumstances
@@jacobluna1731 TOO BAD! That's what he gets for team hopping all over the place! U can think that team hopping is OK, but I DON'T! Like I keep saying, the basketball GODS are not allowing championships to be won that way ANYMORE! Spare me the EXCUSES!
@@jacobluna1731 point is Rob Parker thinks that by going against the obvious makes him different in his sports analysis. He never gives Steph credit, never gave Brady credit but now defending Durant makes no sense in my opinion.
Finally someone speaking facts. Cant be a top 10 talent if you can’t lead any non Curry team to a finals. He’s been surrounded by way too much talent to have the resume he has
KD is a top 10 talent, but the problem is he's not a leader. He's has a beta personality. His talent requires him to be an alpha, but he's too soft. He's not comfortable in his own skin.
@@lynnpatton468ou do know KD has played with harden westbrook and Ibaka, nets kyrie and harden, suns chris paul, and booker so KD looks like he loses with a lot of help
@@lynnpatton468 KD Losess With The Most Help TF You Mean! 😂 OKC, Brooklyn & Now Phoenix! That Boy Cant Win Even With The Uphand Unless Its On GSW Simple
How can you say Steph wouldn’t have won those rings without KD but you don’t acknowledge that KD would have no rings without Steph. Curry has proven that he could win without KD even if you wanna say injuries played a part in 2015 he then again won last year and was the Finals MVP. Nothing but facts
We can finally put the “Steph needed KD to win” narrative to rest. KD just tagged along for the ride. He’s a glorified role player with superstar talent
I agree, Steph was gonna win a few chips anyway. However, he did need KD to beat prime LeBron. If not, they wouldn't have flown out to the Hamptons to recruit him.
@@nofnway9918 I hate that take. It's like you're saying GSW got destroyed in the finals by prime LeBron. It came down to the last few minutes and amazing play by LeBron and Kyrie.
@jonl1319 I mean, Donkey said it himself. They did fly out to recruit him and not the other way around. And LeBron almost beat them singlehandedly the finals prior. But, I get it.
@@jonl1319well it's a valid take.. you can only be judged by your actions, if they did feel they could have beat that LeBron Cavs team on their own, they forfeited the right to make that case by recruiting KD
@@starkiller578 lebron was the best once in miami and once in cleve (although he failed to hit the game winning shot) both times against durant kd smoked him and was easily the best player in the series 2011 lebron was nowhere NEAR being the best 2014 lebron was nowhere NEAR being the best on the court as he was swept AGAIN please stop this foolishness and leave this cult
@@starkiller578 durant was the best player in both finals he was healthy for; smoked lebron like he was his son ... was on his way to winning a third and got hurt vs toronto what are you talking about?
No sir.. We don't have KD Vs MJ debates.. Yal being ridiculous.. You can't hold him to Bron standards unless you trying to say KD is in the 🐐 conversation
@@jvtopflight796 this has nothing to do with the MJ and LBJ goat debate. The conversation is not even on that topic and yes he should be held to LBJ standards, he is considered an All Star and an all time great...so Yes sir he deserves the same energy.
Wow look at how objective and detail oriented Rob is for KD! It’s almost baffling to hear. He NEVER remembers who was hurt, what games were close or anything like that when it comes to Lebron or Steph.
You can’t win a championship by joining a new team midseason. Give them a whole offseason together and rebuild their supporting cast. They had no bench.
Durant needed the Warriors more than they needed him. The Warriors could have have brought in almost anyone and they still would have been contenders. Rob defending him like he’s his kid brother. If I hear another person bring up that toe on the line 3 I’ll scream. They act like it’s a great moment in his career, when it wasn’t.
It's interesting how Rob has the same position about Steph, similar to Skip. KD wants to ball. Those are his words, but the world will compare and contrast his career with other players. It is a shame they make excuses for KD, but I guess there is some reason behind it.
Rob and Skip love to remind people of kd's 2 years of fame while diminishing the fact CURRY, Klay and the supporting cast we're the best team in the LEAGUE before him arriving so imagine anybody beating them in 7 games back then. Rob parker is a shame lol
He wasn’t. Steph’s gravity and Klays additional firepower allowed KD to be a post season god through rarely being guarded by the opposition’s best defender. Without them, teams can remove his mid range god mode influence.
Finally somebody admitting that KD is past his prime. He's been breaking down physically for like 3-4 years, it was only a matter of time where it was gonna translate to on the court. We've been spoiled into thinking star players can remain elite past their mid 30's just because Steph and Lebron are. But they're the exception, not the norm.
@@daddyfresh242 He can still put up good 30+ pt games but the it comes with worse efficiency, more turnovers, more sloppy play etc... You saw evidence of it last year when they got swept by Boston and this year against Denver
Kd fans are lucky cause us curry an bron fans no matter what the media will find a way to hate. Kd fans have the luxury of their favorite player playing like garbage but avoids the fair hate
@@Thats2eazy he lost even with cp3 playing, it was 0-2 when CP was playing, still he had booker and ayton same 2 players that made it to the finals with CP3. Stop making excuses. KD is no Steph, he is not 1a, if it wasnt for steph nobody would even mention KD.
Ayton is really overrated. He's being called a star because people are clingy on his drsft selection. A team cannot have Ayton as their center if they want to win.
I know people think he may have rediscovered his prime after the Achilles, what if he didn’t?. He wasn’t afraid of physicality in okc and he was unguardable
No the softest thing he ever did was join a 73-9 team that “he” had down 3-1 in a wcf… If anything he should’ve stayed in brooklyn cuz that was a team!!!
@@BaithNa Are you serious??? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣… The nets were kyries team?? No sir.. The nets only acquired kyrie because of kd! Wym? they got james harden… because of kd! they got steve nash… Cuz of kd! Cuz of book and kd.. now them boys let yall down 🤣🤣🤣🤣
basketball connoisseurs know that just being a great shooter like KD or Kyrie is not enough in the NBA!! you need health, a playmaker, a talented big, and a good supporting cast
Rob left out he went to the team that beat him the year prior to get a cheap ring. It’s easy to win when the next few players the greatest shooters ever. That always gets left out in these type discussions.KD is a great player that doesn’t lead which is the real issue.
Hate kd put himself in this position. Got his chips but boosted Steph legacy in the making, he couldn’t stay no matter how many chips he got never woulda got the credit. Kinda was in a lose lose situation. The nets saga was a mess, he was just hurt. This year felt like the one for redemption but the basketball gods fucked him🤦🏽♂️ tough!
How is it a hit to KDs legacy? The dude literally just got to the team THIS YEAR. It's not even a real team because there is no bench at all and still got to the second round. I agree with Chris on this though. He's not in the top10 discussions now. But Chris is being disingenuous when saying, we use to think KD was unguardable. Do yall forget that this dude had his ACL torn. It's an injury that only keeps you out of the game for a year and a half. I mean, of course he's guardable now. You don't ever fully recover from that injury. Chris, what do you mean he hasn't overcome? This dude literally had a ACL tare and managed to hold himself as a top10 player. He literally overcame a career ending injury.
I don't think those dogs ever had CP3 out and Ayton giving up on the team during their playoff run. But nonetheless Phoenix has always been pretenders before KD arrived. The Suns have a 2 year window to make this KD situation work.
@@pimpinisanoncontactsport2096 my guy I mean I typed it, so I couldn't have stuttered. Yes, he's no leader he doesn't carry a team. He just putd up points
@@Hooperd2023 and that was the last time he's ever done it without Steph. I mean you had Westbrook and Harden, two MVP players. I mean talk about setting the bar high.
The Warriors took advantage of their situation against the Cavs in 2015 because of a depleted Cavs squad. That's like the equivalent if Wade of Bosh being out in 2012 and then OKC winning it.
And then went to the Olympics and won gold. Team USA doesn't win without Durant being their best player and closing. Saved Gregg Popovich's legacy and Team USA.
he didnt lose the series his team the phoenix suns did...they gave up too much to get him ...shoulda kept mikal bridges for sure and promised the nets some more draft picks or something
Na man. He ain't even top 20 until he leads a team to the chip. Lot of people don't even have Wade top 20 after his title run in '06 and winning 2 more with LeBron
K.D. would have been better saying in BKLYN and seeing how things paced out. Then asked for a trade next year. That way you can build a effective bench and then PHX would had consistency.
@@Geojr815 Well that's a statement that all of the greats will say. In which, I understand. He should also looked at requesting a trade with PHX. He should have known that this trade will gut the majority of your PHX Bench, even though I like CP3 he gets injured around play-off season like all of the time, then DeAndre Ayton's is not glued in wiith the team. Top of that you (K.D) is going to get majority of the blame, and you have not been there a full year. All I am saying had things currently played out in the East. K.D. could have possilbly been on a team that is going to the East Coast finals with BKLYN. That's if K.D. was there.
@@terrancemoore496 yeah lol he should force his way out of Phx because things are not absolutely perfect. That would be on brand for Kd. Turn his back on another franchise that invested in him. Maybe he can go hop on the Nuggets
Marcelous Wiley's KD Ass Kissing went so far as to NOT ONLY claim Steph isn't Top10 All-Time (which isn't a crime in itself) but then moved KD past Steph Curry All-Time (which he's NOT but in itself isn't super criminal) BUT THEN ALSO moved KD ahead of Kobe Bryant All-Time! Thats when I lost it smh Steph isn't Top10 but KD is...!!? and somehow, he not only is ahead of Steph but Kobe too!? Cmon ppl
KD is just a 2nd guy, maybe not scoring wise but he needs an elite primary ball handler and scorer that diverts attention. KD scored more ppg than steph but steph was the most important player, as a ball handler, scorer and passer.
Remember we’ve been listening to Rob say: Lebron started MySpace and KD started Facebook 😂😂😂😂😂 People bend over backwards for KD. But hold a Year 20 Lebron to “Chip or bust” standards 😅
His game doesn't stretch outside of the shooting guard mentality. All the other intangibles that come with god given height are lost in his game. He was born to be tall, but he plays like he wishes he was 6"6
I can't say he's out of the top 10. That's a major stretch, but he's definitely out of the best player in league conversation. I said that last night while they were getting THUMPED. Before his injury, KD was absolutely a top 10 player & anyone that denies it is delusional. He was playing lights out and in the MVP discussion.
I'm so glad I'm not tied down to something I said in 2017.... smh that " im not a leader" quote was years ago as if no1 can change their views in 6years
Rob brings all the injuries of kds teammates and pretty much saying KD need help but doesn’t give Steph that same respect?! Steph lost his big in 2016 finals and iggy was hurt and dray missed a game. Klay didn’t play well even though Steph was getting triple teamed. But he makes every excuse for KD whole career outside of the 2 in GS lol
