Honestly, I wouldn't put Melo there either, although he'll probably make it all the same. Still, no scoring title, no MVP, never made the finals, I guess he gets in entirely on the basis of all star selections? Maybe some olympic stuff? The basketball hall has really low standards.

melo won the scoring title in 2013, he also averages nearly 25ppg for his career. He is a cancer to teams but no doubt he is a HoFer (10x all star)

KD masked the ineptitude of OKC. They always ran a horrible system but because KD was so great, they were in the conversation every year for contention. WestBrook is a great individual player but other superstars cannot play with him because although he might be the fiercest competitor, he is not a smart basketball player.

These guys are clowns and don’t watch any games. Melo doesn’t play defense but they have the 3rd ranked defense in the league. Paul George and Russell play better without Melo, funny cause Melo and Russ have the same net rating as Paul and Russell so should Paul come off the bench? That 0-7 if they are within 3 points in the final 3 minutes. That sounds like the key stat said in this video. That means the Thunder are 7-2 in non-close games. Expanding on what Gottlieb said- Thunder lost 15 games in 15-16 when the Thunder had a lead in the 4th quarter and won 55 games in total instead of potentially 70. They bounced back in the playoffs. The Thunder were also dead last in passing in 15-16 as well as this season so far.

Stop putting the blame on certain individuals its everyones fault. Westbrook needs to be more self aware and stop taking pull up threes, Pg needs to be more agressive and Melo needs to stop taking contested shots and try to spot up unless its clutch time . Billy Donvan needs to stop allowing Adams to switch on defense and hold people accountable and make better rotations.

This is ridiculous. Westbrook's free throw percentage shows he's "Overthinking sharing the ball". If Colin actually kept up with basketball he'd know Westbrook had to change his free throw routine that he's used for 5-10 years because of a new rule in the NBA that makes free throws quicker... Colin said these guys are all iso players that don’t shoot threes. PG is currently at 40% from three this year. PG could thrive in a Klay Thompson role which is kind of what he is doing. He also leads the league in steals

Some Guy: Harden was traded due to the Thunder Organization's Financial incompetence and saw his Numbers Ballon up after becoming the Number One Option in Houston. Durant liked Westbrook off the Court but not as much on the Court it seemed after He Bailed on him and the Thunder Organization without Warning. KD won a Ring that He probably could have Won with the Thunder later down the Line but Kudos to Him. Oladipo went from being a 3rd Option last season under Westbrook & Steven Adams but Is Now the Number One option in Indiana which has caused an Increase in his Scoring Production. Russell Westbrook has been doing just Fine and won't Lose any Sleep over your Comments..#StoptheHating

I really like the idea of Melo coming off the bench but worse case can't they just manage the mins so that he starts but ends up leading the 2nd unit? Melo could take like every shot with the 2nd unit and the Thunder would live with it. It's only Nov so I'm pretty sure they'll figure something out but if PG leaves to the Lakers it's gonna be a bad look.

CamBlizzy I think it goes to the bench. The starters have to go hard to keep pace with teams they tire towards the end of games. Unless their bench improves it’s going to be tough.

I've heard this argument from Doug Gottlieb too many times. Dez Bryant does play in the slot. He gets moved around the filed besides the backfield. He has played the X,Y, and Z positions.Go watch some film. Also, Dallas dose not have the players like Arizona has had for him to go to the Y. Meaning speed guys on the outside.

Colin is reaching. Westbrook's free throws are messed up because he had to change his routine due to a rule change about how much time players can take for free throws.

That’s the difference between a winner and a loser: ability to put ego behind what makes sense. D Wade had no problem giving his starting spot to JR Smith, yet Melo when he heard someone mention him come off the bench in a press conference, he laughed as of it was so ridiculous.
