Kingslayer no one player is winning when teams have multiple stars and the 3 point shot is the most important thing. Klay is only a star because of the 3pt shot. In a league where it isn’t important, like when MJ played, he’d be an average guy because the 3 was like whatever. Keep these things in context. MJ in today’s game would be close to Westbrook...and we see Westbrook isn’t winning...

He probably cares about his legacy and noticed people respected Lebron for winning with a team with no championships into one in 2016. People view Lebron’s ring with Cleveland as more impressive than his Heat rings and they should because of the context. Prince ChaRodd Odom was a borderline all star, Horry and Fox were great role players. Malone and Payton were at the tail end of their careers and no longer considered elite at their positions. Shaq is the only player you mentioned that is on the same tier as AD and KD, meaning potentially top 3 or even the best player in the league at any given moment in their primes. Those are not valid or equal comparisons.

There wont be an asterisk because his name will never be in that conversation. KD will be remembered like AI, all-time great offense and in a class of their own as far as size. KD can literally win 8 straight rings in GS and they would have no more weight than AI's one finals win. Everything the GSW accomplish with an all-star team is nearly meaningless.

Ohnide Krž Correct! That was before the Colorado case in 04, he was blessed. After that, he lost advertisements and NBA owner start giving him hard time. LeBron has clean record, that’s why they gave him prime Wade, prime Chris Bosh, prime Kevin Love, prime Kyrie, Ray Allen that saved him to get a ring, next year he might get AD and KD. The best part is he was on the East conference where there’s not that many great he has to face. If Kobe switches role with LeBron.
