Chris Brown • Under the Influence Tour • Lighting and Show Design, FOH Sound and Monitoring Tools 

Chris Brown's „Under The Influence Tour“ was a phenomenal success in Europe and the UK. No wonder, because the R'nB star's last concerts on this side of the pond were over 10 years ago. Chris Brown delighted fans with a stylish, two-tiered stage design that offered plenty of scope for mind-blowing dance choreographies. On stage, the central objects were three rectangular stage elements (mobilators), which were framed by two inflatables. Custom-built coin-shaped stairs with LED accents were positioned on the sides. Here Chris and his dancers were able to elegantly switch between levels during the show.
Justin Collie from Nimblist was responsible for the futuristic production and lighting design. Sandy Paul has been accompanying the shows on tour for several years as the passionate lighting director, who explains more about the R'n'B icon's exciting show concept in our EventElevator video. The tour was also also a real statement in terms of sound. Kevin Brown provided the exquisite FOH sound and Chainey Harpe was the maestro at the monitor desk. Both also give EventElevator a few insights into their tools and workflows.
The majority of the lighting programming for the project was done by: Justin Collie and Manuel Conde. Sandy Paul assisted them in perfecting it on the road. The technical service provider in Europe was Zion plus a crew from BPM SFX took care of the smooth implementation of the pyro and effects.
