God paid the highest cost for us,Yet today's follower seek the blessings and power, forgetting the part of picking up our cross and follow Jesus no matter the cost. We have it easy here in USA I have been feeling a tug to go on a missions trip, something I never wanted to do and said I have no desire for in the past.lately as I have spent time with God something has been changing. We do sponsor a child but it doesn't feel like enough. Thank you so much for giving the Word with flavor and such power.I pray God forgives me for my lack. He deserves a sold out servant who stops fearing the idea of going on a missions trip...Amen!
Appreciate the message, the Bible isn't simply a rule book...sinners break the rules, which is all of us -- saved and unsaved. Paul in Romans 7 informs us the things he wants to do, he doesn't; the things he doesn't want to do, he does. Understanding we don't play the game perfectly keeps us humble and seeking grace. When grace restores, we learn to love deeper and better. John 13:34 is the last rule, "this new commandment I leave you" Jesus left...love as Jesus loves us...forgiveness, grace, mercy for others when they fall...God's love never fails, even though we do.
