Rocking up a storm. Don't laugh but I have just discovered Chris Cain and as you all know already he is the full package, and he smiles at his audience too. Wonderful.
Agree! His chops is a bit like Alvin Lee of Ten Years After but "bluesed down" so you hear his fun runs! Met him 1½ years ago and he's as nice as he plays :-)
People always comment on his guitar playing, and well, um, yeah it's freakin outrageous. But his vocals are so incredibly authentic and powerful; a lot like BB King.
Never even heard of this guy till today. What a discovery! This is what it's all about! I know what I'm going to be listening to for the next few hours!
Saw Chris for the first time just the other day. At first I thought he was trying to Imitate some of the Greats in the Blues. Then I watched a little longer and a little closer and I discovered this. Chris Cain is one of the best! This guy is legit and packin a Loaded Gun when he straps on his guitar. Pure joy in every note he plays and the style of a seasoned pro! I hope I get to meet him and jam someday. What a great time that would be!
Before you go jam with Chris .................... ditch your RU-vid handle ......... ~P~R~O~N~T~O~ ~!~ I GUESS YOU LIVE IN YOUR OWN LITTLE WORLD OF FILTH !?!?!? GEEZZZ LOUEEZZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I saw Chris in Santa Cruz and I became a huge fan and followed him everywhere. He gave a me a guitar lesson backstage at the Catalyst. I'll never forget it and it was the beginning of me applying jazz licks to my blues playing.. Thanks Chris!
fred pg he does. listen to how out of tune it goes. listen to how muddy the tone gets when he lowers his volume. that don’t happen when he plays his Gibsons.....
@@DougErapps Well, the the flaws you mention are easily corrected, but I agree an Epi is not a Gibson. Still, it goes to show you cant get a great tone with a cheap guitar.
@@DougErapps Sorry to tell you, there are many videos of him playing his gibson completely out of tune (his video playing with Bonamassa for instante).
He did that lick that Alvin Lee did at Woodstock in "I'm Goin' Home." That rolling up on the G-string thingy... If you know what I'm talking about, then you know!
