I understand. But in my opinion this one and many of the others such as Long Gone, Enemy, Scream, Never Far Away, Take Me Alive, Ordinary Girl are way above the mainstream songs in this kind of genre. These are meaningful and deep songs. Chris always wanted to experiment with different styles of music and expand his work. I feel at least he was brave enough to come out his comfort zone. If one looks at the range of songs he has left behind one can see amazing variety. I also think he wanted to take his message to a wider range of followers.
I'll never understand why this not only wasn't on the album, but wasn't the first single. You have to win over the fan base first and this song would have done that.
The studio version of Part of Me sucks.....I LOVE the live versions, check out the live version at Pink Pop =) . I agree that most of the bad ones were put on the album, this one should definitely have replaced Get Up =D
