This is fucking luck that Chris wrote this song for Casino Royale, best Bond's movie ever! I remember how i watch this movie for a first time, and i was crazy about movie intro with that song. It has all needed ingredients mystic, poetry, action, betray and so on.... So cool that this song could even played live! Such a talent!
This is the second live performance I've searched for this song and both times he's flat as a pancake. Such a GREAT voice but....oh dear! So lethargic. Whoever engineered the studio recording for this obviously really pushed him on the day and got a wonderful performance.
Very late reply, but the one at Pinkpop in 2009 is pretty good. This one's by far the worst I've seen. I wonder if there was something wrong with his monitor. That said, Chris was always great in the studio but quite prone to get pitchy live on some songs. I haven't really found a good live performance of Pretty Noose yet
Get out there and sing even close to this 100-200 times a year. The guy was fighting his own demons for a long time. The man was a god in his craft. As he got older he slowly lost his battle. Cornell changed the game for generations to come. Put some respect on his name
As a person with Mental Health Issues, and a life long Heroin Addict, one just needs to watch the slow progression over the year's of Chris singing this song, that he knew that Suicide was in his Name!
Gretchen Hagenlocher He KNEW that he made the BIGGEST mistake of his life when he married that Vicky. He always looked dead behind the eyes when he was with her and I’ve NEVER seen him with that look when he was with Susan Silver. His eyes also LIT up when he was with his children and TRUE friends/band mates
@@RenataDomarco_Arquitetura He is even out of tune... I have a total respect for this guy and his talent, but this performance is terrible certainly the worst i have seen from him, totaly intoxicated. I expect at least to be in tune...
