Chris is an excellent storyteller. He has many songs he has written that are like this. Some based in fact, some he just created, but all well written. You saw and heard it in The Crusader. He should be way more popular than he is. He is popular in some places, mainly because he lived there or some reason like that, but with his writing ability and the musicianship, he should have been huge. This was filmed in Canada, and he lived there for a while too. A couple of his albums came out of Toronto. Originally he was from Ireland, and grew up partly in Spain.

A lot of professional musicians don't rate Chris d'Burgh too highly because he was a well to do bloke with important parents that lived in a castle in Ireland and wrote tunes purely for the commercial success. What they don't take into account is that his poetry, the lyrics are actually good. I like his songs even if they are mostly just "popcorn"
