You are my favorite of all the music in the World! You should come to Iqaluit, Nunavut. It's beautiful here and everyone will welcome you. Aakuluk I've loved you and your music forever. My now deceased husband introduced your beauty music to me in the mid 80s
Great New Single CdB, as even time goes so quickly, there will be a Borderline and a Hurricane! Always doing so good at the musical Soul! Purety and Braveness : that is what I call Chris de Burgh! Many Thanks!!!
I first heard this while living in the Azore islands. Being on a small pin-point of land stretching up from the bottom of the Atlantic, in the middle of the Atlantic is humbling.
I just love this that you are 14 and love such amazing lyrics and story telling. I a 62 and followed Chris de Burgh 46 years he his the greatest singer songwriter on the planet Convince everyone in your peer group by playing his classics The head and the heart, In a country church yard, Spanish train etc 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😁😁😁
Standing in the foyer of the Grand Hotel, Suitcase in his hand looking for a bill, There's a hurricane coming and everyone's trying to get away; Time of the season, time of the year, The weather reporter from Miami is clear, "Find a save place to hide, " there's no place here; And then the lights go down, In that Caribbean town, And the fishing boats that go out from the coast, Are tied up and dry, yeah yeah yeah, Suddenly there's a movement to the telephone, But nobody's calling home tonight, They've taken out the very last flight, And they close down the borderline, 'Cause there ain't nowhere to hide, Waiting for the hurricane, There is nowhere here to hide, Waiting for the hurricane, Oh there is nowhere you can hide, Waiting for the hurricane, no no no no Staring out the window of the Grand Hotel, The sea was roaring, I remember well, And then the honeymoon bride began to cry, But as the band played on, Some old love song, Well he held her hand, Gave her to understand, It'll be alright, yeah yeah yeah, Suddenly there's a movement to the radio, But nobody's getting home tonight, They've taken out the very last flight, And they closed down the borderline, 'Cause there ain't nowhere to hide, Waiting for the hurricane, There is nowhere here to hide, Waiting for the hurricane, Oh there is nowhere you can hide, Waiting for the hurricane, Oh there is nowhere you can hide, Waiting for the hurricane, Oh oh, waiting for the hurricane, Oh oh, waiting for the hurricane, No no no no
Great song! looking forward for a new album. the video itself, however, a bit disappointing, from a director's point of view... shots too short, direct non-editable shots stuck together (chris with a guitar with a cut to chris without a guitar, looks strange)... needs re-edition, I think. the song itself is amazing!
hi Chris since I can't to write to you on your Facebook I'm just to write to you hear for the moment and here is a song for you waiting for the hurricane
