Eubanks 1 hander is smooth. I feel like he hit his serve flat and though he has MPH it is somewhat easier to return than a serve with more spin. I feel if Eubanks develops that he can remain solidly in the top 10.
Just an old phone. Professional camera equipment isn't allowed including tripods. I also don't want to carry lots of camera equipment around the entire day + I try to be as discrete as possible and not draw any attention. Also for the main practice courts at the Citi Open like in this video, you have to shoot thru the holes in the fencing, which is a major pain especially when you have lots of fans leaning on the fence or tugging/pulling on it, which will mess up the shot. So vids from this tournament end up looking like trash and I hate them. I really hate the practice court setup at the DC/Citi Open and frankly don't want to go back to the tournament.
@@Skylimit67 Likely will just keep future vids from the Open to myself and not post them after last year and the hassle of dealing w/ the U$T@. Lol, I'll probably be booted out of the venue and this entire channel will vanish. I'll leave it to others to post videos like @proTennisPhotos who does real good work at the USO and hope you guys will watch them and support their channel and other tennis channels as well, all of which help promote the sport
@@12kgpTennis not aware of the specifics but I am assuming you got flak for posting footage of the US Open. Sorry to hear. Good to know for others who were considering putting up footage. I have a bunch from years past but what you said gives me pause. I follow @protennisphotos. Great channel.
I've seen about 6 or 7 of his practices now. Consistency is a bit all over the place... insane kick serve though. More side movement/kick after the bounce than anyone else I can recall in recent memory including peak Thiem's kick serve.
definitely does*, especially on the backhand. he is absolutely just pushing and bunting it he's clearly relied on his serve and occasional explosiveness to get through the likes of the top 20, but he's going to need much more to compete consistently with top pros
Idk where he'll be ranked, but Shelton's serve is going nowhere for the next ~15 years. Best motion I've seen since Raonic (Ruud/Berrettini's are nice though), who would've been the same type of presence on tour without the injuries.
Hi @12kgp-Tennis, May I re-use some footage from your channel for stroke analysis and tactical commentary? I will always link back and credit you in the description and give a shoutout. I am small now but hopefully will grow well. Thank you in advance! - Malhar
