Such a mature outlook from a child. She has such empathy and joy, I look forward to seeing her in future projects. She could teach a lot to other actors about working on projects that truly inspire them.
so i’ve been watched Gifted, but i watched another movie that Mckenna was in called The Bad Seed , and my mind was set. she IS my favorite child actor. she’s so mature, kind, well spoken, beautiful, talented. i hope when i get older that my kids will be as outspoken and brave like she is! and i smiled every time Chris would look at her and smile!!🙂🙂
The scene Chris Evans alluded to, where Mary feels abandoned and betrayed by Frank at the foster care home is so emotionally wrenching and so powerful I have to jump over the scene while watching the movie on DVD now. I've seen the movie several times, but once is enough for that gut wrenching scene. It's just too believable and so painful to watch. ...I'm assuming it was this scene, but there were actually TWO scenes like he was describing in the movie. One has a much happier conclusion, though. This makes me truly respect the acting chops of a then nine-year-old Mckenna Grace. She, like two-time Academy Award nominated actress Saoirse Ronan, is a young actress who has such amazing talent she should go far in the world of movie making.

i seen legends of the fall and my life in movies ,it does make you cry,what makes me cry is lassie tv series with the forest ranger,i grew up with it.their is a scene lassie gets scared from the hurricane jumps out the window from the rangers's headquarters and lassie doesn't give up to get back to cory the forest ranger and the end of the scene cory and lassie reunite in new orleans,that scene would make you cry.
