To be fair, it was a long set up. Also being fair, the set up was way too long for only one payoff at the end.

It was a 5 minute long setup for basically one punchline. It was a funny and well told story, but it was basically no jokes and all setup.

the crowd fucking sucked ass. granted it's a long story. but there were at least 4 laughs along the way. this bit would kill in a normal comedy club.

@@ashchaya7676 You are counting applause breaks. Yes those are harder to achieve as a comic. And they typically come at the end of a story a comic tells, they come at the ultimate punch of the story.
