If my info is up to date, it's actually legal for an adult to marry someone age 16 (and sometimes younger) with their parent's permission in 44 out of 50 states. And it gets worse - all the 6 states that made it illegal have only done so very recently. It was legal in 50 out of 50 states just 7 years ago.
Chris we love ya but don’t lie…the interviews are less about getting inside the predator’s mind (which you seldom do) and more about providing us all with timeless entertainment via exposing the predators’ pathetic lies, showing them cringe when you read back the chat logs, and of course throwing in your trademark one-liners.
I love that Chris immediately said Gabby's name. It felt very disrespectful how they said "Brian Laundrie and that girl he killed" I'm sure they didn't mean it that way but it sounded horrible

There is no rehabilitation for these type of people . Think about it you like what you like and nobody can change your mind. For example I’m a grown man and I like a certain type of woman, no type of prison time or therapy could convince me to like a man because I like females and that’s the way I was programmed since birth . I like hot wings and again no type of prison time drugs or therapy could convince me or “fix” me to not like hot wings I like what I like . Only way to fix these people is to surgically remove their junk and still they will always be a danger to our communities.
Aaaaand this is why the non offending ones won't come forward. There's suspected to be at least 5 non offenders per offender- keeping em locked up in their own head with the threat of violence isn't really going to achieve much. This is also why The Terminator would make a shitty psychiatrist.

Medically, they're classified as "hebephiles", in that they're sexually attracted to pubescent adolescents, specifically. If you read any of their chatlogs, they all tend to ask about pubic hair and other secondary sex characteristics, and it's deliberate on the part of the predator.
And "deliberate" in that they it's a way for them to target a specific stage of childhood development, not necessarily a specific age, although 11-14 is what TCaP used in their series.
@@bjkarana Unfortunately the avg. age for a pedophiles' desirable victim age range is 8- 9 yr. old's. This is when most children get sexually victimized.
@@robertwilson2007 I know; it's very sad. Pedophiles target _pre_ pubescent children, while hebephiles target those already in puberty. It's still all very harmful, but I was answering a specific question that another commenter had asked as to why these predators don't just go for a younger looking adult.
I was a counselor at a summer camp when i was 20. One of the campers- 14- revealed that she was in a relationship with a 22-year-old in Long Island. I see now I should have called the police. I just didnt want to get involved.

He also promised the addict help then ignored all future calls by the person he took advantage of.
