Love my old r53(modd3d) its all about that supercharger sound. Youd be suprised what they can keep up with too. There not that slow and they handle great. Very cool cars. There is no other car like the mini they just feel different to other car( pre 2007). The old ones are the best raw drivers car.
Absolutely, the supercharge whine is brilliant, February this year i was lucky to by a 2005 mini cooper S R53 supercharger, its running at 178 bhp at the moment, however i am looking to stage it to about 250, 260bhp,
wow, big fan of chris harris - follow all of his reviews - and have just gotg the bug to pick up a Cooper GP in the near future. Search, find this - I must be on the right track here! Point being I've owned bigger, faster (and heavier) cars but the GP seems to doing things right.
So this was all about finding the best handling car. The Cayman won yet he said he was gaining on the Cayman in a mini. So clearly not the best handling
