It's not a "competition" at all 😂 I'm not the one bringing "contributions to skateboarding" into this, you weirdos are. Again, on a video created by professional skaters interviewing another professional skater that's also an absolute legend, that's why it's weird to mention "contributions to skateboarding" just because they said the guy made a dorky video. Good god. The drama. Like you guys understand that, right? Nobody "attacked" his contributions to skateboarding, they said one particular contribution was dorky af, and didn't mention him by name. It's not like they eviscerated his whole channel or attacked him personally. That's why it's silly to bring up said contributions, particularly on a video made by people who have contributed quite a bit more to skating themselves. It's just strange as hell, immature, dramatic, nonsensical. You're here because the guy's pride got hurt, and he made a response video. Zero critical thinking.

Radrat's video concludes in defending Chris and saying, no, he isn't cheating. Rat has only ever made positive videos, and he paid so much respect to Haslmam, your takes are so painfully out of touch. You could say he used clickbait, but even then it was mild - And he answered the question in a positive way, with trick breakdown and everything. Watch the video on air.

Still people are reacting to what they said as if they all watched the video, heard all of Radrat's arguments, the fact that he said that it wasn't really cheating but just a different technique, and still dismissed him as a dork. Which isn't the case. They reacted to the sentence "Chris Haslam cheats on his switch lazer flips", it basically has nothing to do with Radrat or what he said in the video. It's about the notion that Haslam would be "cheating" and somebody made a video about it.

Loved how he mentioned Daewon and him would have a comp who could do a blunt tre flip first at demos. REWIND to 2009 at a DVS demo at academy skatepark in CT, Im sitting on the a 10 ft quarter pipe no one's skating and Daewon cruises across the skate park first try does blunt 360 flip out next to me sitting on the coping. He gives me a look as he rolls away "like that one was for you" and the crowd fucking erupts!!!!.......... I hold onto that moment still to this day and will always seeing the legend in the flesh killing it. Got to meet dubs that day and many more who were on the DVS team at the time I want to say Chris was there was there aswell but I didn't see him.

In the age of social media having a guy like Haslam is refreshing. He never sold out and is always just himself with his own unique style. Its crazy to me that one of my favorite skaters as a kid doesn't have sponsors anymore for no reason. Seems like skate companies are cutthroat once you reach a certain age bc of how marketing works. Mullen, Haslam, Daewon are all guys that make skating an art style and not afraid to get weird with it

Absolutely no need to call rad rat a dork Kelly. You clearly didn't watch his video and you went straight to the adhoms which means you automatically lost the argument. He never said he was cheating at lazers. Really effed up to call a smaller creator names when you don't even know what the vid is about. Ya know you pro skaters gate keep skating so badly which is totally the opposite of what this culture and community used to be. Shoutout to Chris man, Im 28 now prolly 13-14 at the time and I can still remember to this day skating with him at our local park in Michigan Simplicity. It was around Christmas time and said he was visiting family and stopped in. Put on an absolute clinic on the mini and was just a super rad dude. I don’t skate anymore but find myself watching clips and this channel all the time. Shit like this makes me want to get back on a board. Shoutout to you guys

I got to skate with Rodney and daewon at skate shack in lisle IL at a demo in 1999. I found a video of them doing the demo. I was just a kid. I did my first kickflip off a launch ramp. I skated alot better when having better people around.
