Chris Hemsworth Doesn’t Mind Being Exploited

The way I see that is that Taika understands what some people want to see from Chris. He`s a good actor but of course his looks have factored into his success and fame(Hemsworth even acknowledged as much in an interview promoting the first Avengers movie but was careful to say that he hoped his looks weren`t the ONLY reason that he had an acting career but he did acknowledge it as ONE of the reasons that he had an acting career?,). It`s no different then when Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp and so on were younger and in their prime and I would even take it back to older actors like Marlon Brando(LONG before The Godfather), Warren Beatty, Paul Newman, Robert Redford, etc, when they were younger or James Dean. As a straight guy, I have no interest in men but I can actually see the logic and reasoning behind exploiting Chris Hemsworth`s looks and physicality. A guy who looks like that should be in front of the camera. Hemsworth knows what he`s got and he`s using it. The same way models leverage their looks. Hollywood gets what it wants from him and he ''plays the game'' and has a successful career as a leading man-actor.
