Synopsis:
When North Korean troops invade U.S. soil and take over the city of Spokane, Wash., a recently returned Iraq War veteran and a group of teens flee to the woods and form a band of freedom fighters. I have seen both versions of this movie, and yeah, this was pretty good. But what many don't take into account, is this is a summary of what We America, have done to many countries! To be clear, this wasn't the choice of any soldier. Most of our battles and War were fought because of politics and the criminal politicians who ran our government an made war at the cost of our people! I do understand when a war may be necessary, but there hasn't been one sense the 1940s! Although I do believe that the next big war will be held here in America, and it will be a civil war! There is to much division, and to much government control!

It lives nowhere in reality. North Korea invading us? Seriously? That's one of the most ridiculous movie premisses I've ever heard, cannot happen! Would never happen at least how the world is today. With all our guns it would be insane for any nation to invade us, we would actually fight an it wouldn't be safe for any outsiders from anywhere being here. Tiny little North Korea? Not a single chance this would happen.

Dam, the whole time I was expecting the Marines would storm in and retake our city until the Sgt Major said "when there was a Camp Pendleton". lolz, that was one of the only thing in life that I deny to believe. It would take a whole country of that army to maybe have a slight chance of taking control of one of the sites at Camp Pendleton and even if they could, they would have been sent back to their country in body bags (courtesy of the Marine Corps) before they got to report mission accomplished back to their COC. Look at this army, they couldn't even contain Chris (one Marine) and his brother's untrained kids wolverine retaliation, let alone infiltrate one of the biggest Marine bases. Unless Camp Pendleton was nuked or attacked by invisible army, the enemy airborne would just pop like water bubbles in the boiling pot before they even got to land. The movie was good, but it's just something that would never happen for the next 100 centuries. haha

Western countries have become soft particularly the people who have never seen adversity. We have never been as vulnerable as we are currently. Always remember the old saying, 'loose lips sink ships'. Freedom is worth fighting for, just as our ancestors have done before us. Freedom doesn't come easy, you have to fight for it.

2nd amendment didn't even work in that movie. I didn't even see one american walk out their house shooting. Just alot of people screaming and being arrested. I believe this is exactly what would happen if this did happen. Then a few would stand up but most would bow down. 2nd amendment would never really work in a real situation like this because fear is way stronger than people think. Plus most talk the talk but can not ever really walk the walk

It’s funny when we grew up with movies like this and others of possible scenarios of what could happen. Some of the movies that they have made are true to life or darn close to reality. With the way the world is today in these troubling times I could see this happening in the near future. After all nothing was done to shoot down a weather balloon or SPY balloon maybe next time the invasion will come the same way as the balloon but in force.

yeah i thought of it when saw the part of parachuting invaders...but on the other hopefully this film and the balloon from china was a point to ponder for the USA to be prepared if or when it happens... i dont trust china or even chinese here... im from Philippines and Japanese invaded us during the young life of my parents and our country was not reimbursed like Germans did to the Jews... but i am passed by that now I am a canadian and i have families in the US...

Awe-some! Hate to sound clice, but they don't make them like this anymore. The writing is what made it such a great movie--the story is epic and stirs our national pride. This is exactly what would happen if they ever brought the fight into the United States, and everyone knows it too, that's why they are now fighting us through propaganda, subterfuge and disinformation--getting us to turn against each other to weaken us. Don't fall for it: race baiting, rich against poor, blue collar against white collar folks, etc, etc. Don't buy the load of crap the media puts out, it's just a distraction trick. Enough noise to shake the house and Jed doesn't wake up? My dad never saw combat but 40 years after his stint in the Corps the slightest sound could wake him up. A fighter jet races through its own paratroopers? The guy is a combat veteran and he didn't post a guard? Which would have prevented Pete and his buddy from taking off in the middle of the night with all the food. The whole premise of North Korea attacking the US is stupid. They couldn't even get here let alone wage a successful campaign. Listen to any NK defector. They'll tell you the NK army is a joke. Who did the music? Some kid with a Casio?

Worth a watch. Hard to believe, since late teen to college age kids now need safe slaces and suffer tremendously from micro aggressions. They are more concerned with gender fluidity than patriotism. Besides that, I enjoyed the movie.

Kids turned to be all defenders of their country.Chris Hemsworth shd not be killed, i'm thinking at the end he will survive & show at the ending of the story.
