What I would be trying to take away from the game against Namibia is that the ABs conceded 12 penalties. It just so happens that Namibia couldn't win their own set piece. The reason the ABs were pinned in their own half at Twickenham is because they were up against a side that *could* win its own set piece and that used the lineout to force two yellows on the ABs. Every game so far, the ABs have conceded over 10 penalties, while Ireland, France and the Boks have been keeping it well below.
Agreed. Fiji deserves tier 1. People were saying England is currently bad which is why Fiji lost but they beat Argentina and a good Samoan team and obliterated Chile.
Let's be honest, england are the single most uninspiring rugby team in the entire history of the game. And already the fans are starting, after two terrible wins, to pump them up for the inevitable fall.
I generally ignore the podcast for the simple reason you make use of Chris Jones who still has not apologized for his brain-dead remark after 2019 about the asterisk behind the Bok’s triumph. Then the English still wonder why they are the most hated lot in the competition, or any sport for that matter. Old Eddy is an absolute crowd favorite compared to the likes of Chris (and Owen Farrell).
