Reaction was the same as mine 😂😂. Hard to find words really. Makes you shake your head. Guy is just phenomenal.

In my view, the reason why he is so good, is that he can marry his vocal talents and guitar talents through his biggest talent which is a keen talent on how to arrange a song to maximize the emotional content in it. He also never steps in front of a song to make himself shine but humbly lets the song shine. He is simply a good storyteller and even if he didn't have that voice he would probably be a great artist just because of this.

Chris is special talent, isn't he? He's just insanely good! Absolutely world class! He's not just a fantastic song interpreter but also a great songwriter and as you mentioned a really good guitarist! It's such a joy and blessing to follow along on his musical journey! this song was written in 1981 by Dean Dillon and Linda Hargrove and sung by David Allan Coe. But Chris Stapleton put it back on the music charts a few years back. Personally I prefer Chris Klaffords' version better. Chris nailed it and what performance. Hope you do more of Klafford's music.
