The chiefs scoring on their first and second drives, meant Ravens play catch up. All the rest is noise, but Ravens play different when they are behind, a certain desperation and chance taking throws...it was a game plan from the chiefs that had to start with chiefs scoring first and staying ahead, and then game manage until the end. Brilliant really.

That's the strategy that Andy Reid wanted. John Harbaugh might be great and all especially special teams, which of recently the last 3 seasons has been underwhelming for Baltimore tends to make dumb & desperate decisions whenever the Ravens are behind. And this is coming from a Ravens fan..

I love Chris Long. He is so spot on in his discussions. He is straightforward and doesn't sugar coat it. If you don't want the truth, don't ask Chris. If you do something or say something stupid he will call you out. I could listen to him all day.

The Chiefs are simply ready for the biggest moments. They have the talent and coaching. Heck, 7 points were taken off the board due to a holding call. And their defense is real. Allowing an average of 7 in the second half for the entire season.

The Josh vs Lamar playoff debate is laughable. Josh has 21 td’s, Lamar has 6. Josh has 5 playoff wins, Lamar has 2. Lamar is legitimately a worse player in the playoffs vs better competition. Last off season everyone wanted to run the ravens OC outta the building because they said he ran too much, now this year they’re blaming the OC for not running enough. How bout somebody finally give Lamar blame cuz I promise you if the ravens won he’d get 100% credit

Rich, the Ravens saw and realized after the KC vs Bills 2nd half that KC made adjustments to stop the running attack of the Bills. The Ravens offense and the Bill's offense offered up essentially the same problems for the KC defense and the defense had amazing success stopping Buffalo's running game and containing Josh Allen in the second half. That scared the Ravens off their game plan. It's just a theory.

I don’t know what it is, I do not understand the game of football enough to explain it, but EVERY time the Chiefs have a major playoff win I feel like I’ve heard “why did they stop running the ball?” Spags does some magic that just spook people out of running the ball. They locked up Henry in the AFC Championship 2020. They did it to the 49ers, the Eagles, the Bills so many times… it’s a huge X factor imo. They may not have the best run defense in the league but they can just make you stop running the ball.

Patrick Mahomes is already Top 3 all time solidified he already the best Talent QB in NFL History I give respect where respect is due he runs this generation of QB runs the 2020 era he is the head of the table Patrick Mahomes with a great Organization of the Cheifs with a top 5 Greatest Coach of All time in Andy Ried.

They got out of the run because of the first 3 drives of the game. The Ravens knew right away that they were in fact not going to be in control of this game.

You should probably watch the game next time. They called 4 rushes with RBs in those first three drives for a total of 18 yards. One of which was 15 yards. How can someone possibly know running won’t work when you only attempt 4 rushes and two out of the three of those drives were 3 and out?

This might be one of the best commentaries I’ve heard on it. I’m a Baltimore fan and I’ll tell you right now, the media has never reported that our OLine is old, inconsistent and much better at pass pro than run pro. They can be bullied. The two primary RBs are a bit up and down too. So the Ravens need offensive line help in offseason and running back help and they’re cap challenged now but it needs to get done. Ravens’ great rushing numbers this years were built on a lot of yards run by Lamar himself.

I am a Kansas City fan and went to the game. I was shocked at how bad Staley was. The Chiefs victimized him the whole game. He is clearly hurt and not what he once was.

Everyone understands who Chris Jones is and maybe LJ sneed now, but everyone is sleeping on dudes like George Karloftis, Charles Omenihu. Our linebackers are 4 deep with Nick Bolton Leo Chanel Willie Gay and Drue Tranquil. Lastly they got Sneed and McDuffie locking every wr down. Only defense to not let up 30 in any game😤

The AFC is insane in terms of QB talent. If you're a college QB drafted to an AFC team, you're down so bad. Caleb Williams should be ecstatic to end up with the Bears.

I know Justin Herbert is a good QB but they’re in a division with the chiefs so it’s gonna be a tough road for them or any team in that conference. You got mahomes, Lamar, Allen, burrow, stroud, Lawrence, Herbert, Rodgers all in 1 conference which is just I mean talk about a tough road to the super bowl

At some point it’s not fair to judge other qbs off their ability to beat Pat. Lamar and Josh Allen’s especially get the flask for missing opportunities but not credit for creating that opportunity.

Can't believe the gave Lamar 260 million dollars extension. Another season I get my hopes up to watch them play this bad. He needs to give the defense some of his money, they made it look respectable. All year long I had to hear from everyone that we were not ready for big boy football. Need to trade Lamar while he has some value (like a 6th round pick) and get a Superbowl win brought to Baltimore ! Does anyone know how much we owe him if he is traded ?

The defenses fought a fierce battle, and both were outstanding. One was great, the other formidable but both very powerful, on a different level than the offenses. So when I saw the KC def. struggling to breathe towards the end but still giving their all to stop another wave, it was very impressive. And then you look at these absolutely embarrassing, ridiculous shows, and the presenters keep talking about Mahomes, keep talking about Lamar... how good one QB was, how weak the other one was. It's becoming increasingly difficult to watch these shows.

Mahomes completed almost 80% of his passes. He was nothing short of great taking exactly what his opponent gave him. Lamar on the other hand… that’s what people don’t understand about winning QBs. They make the the best of what’s given.

Ravens got punched in the mouth early and panicked. Players and coaches. Coaches lost control of the team and game, players undisciplined and emotional. Not a big Lamar fan, I think he's too emotional and bad under duress. Never did understand Ravens game plan but glad of it!

Chiefs fan here. Lamar is getting beat up really bad. I think he is a stud. He had a bad game. Pat has bad games sometimes. The difference is coaching. If Mahomes would have been drafted by whoever had the 1st pick in the draft, He would have been good but there is a good chance he would not have been great. Pat lands in the lap of Andy Reid and the rest is history. You need talent (Lamar certainly has that), but you need good coaching to go with it. You need a good supporting cast and you need a little luck. Look at the Cowboys. Great talent - one and done. Just my thoughts. I like Lamar Jackson.

Worse for the team and Coaches if they lose while counting on the run more than leaving it to Lamar. As great a player as Lamar is, he still needs to improve his mental game and the narrative that he was 'just a running QB' needed to be recognized as constructive criticism instead of the stupid bigotry it ended up being spun as. Anyone who can't see how much bettter a passer he has become would be blind.

Patrick Mahomes was not the difference in this game. They only scored 17 points. The difference in this game is that the ravens went away from what got them hear, which was running the ball with their backs and their quarterback. Going away from that is been what they've been doing all season even last week Lamar hack, some crazy runs on the scramble and this week he's trying to win the game from the pocket didn't have to.

2 woke liberals who don't have a football clue--if they had actually watched the game, they would have seen Spags continually had 8 in the box. It's stupid to continually try and run against that. That's EXACTLY why Lamar is not a good QB and why he's never been an MVP--he can't make good football decisions with his arm, Spags knew that and that's why he played 8 in the box.
