Have you used either of the two? We're considering porting our app to either one

eh..? Needs graceful degradation built in. This is a parlor trick currently.

@Michael Miller So if Google Docs were built using LiveView, if network is down, the user can continue making edits and data will resync when network becomes available again? My understanding is output is all computed by the server.

@@ILykToDoDuhDrifting He clearly said at the beginning of the talk this is not meant for Google Docs type stuff. "You'd have to use a frontend framework and buy in the complexities"

Developers today don't focus enough on technologies that can save time. If they did, this would be way more popular - As it should be. I think it's just absolutely brilliant

Outstanding framework! As someone who loathes Javascript this is a quite compelling idea. Can't wait to give it a try.

As someone who does JS nearly all day every day professionally... it's actually still pretty impressive.

Wow, this really got me pumped up to start playing with Elixir again. Anyway to avoid spending my time writing javascript and that scales on production is a blessing for me.

Can't wait to use this for building simple Admin Panels to monitor the status of an application in production. Or creating a package that will allow people to easily create their own customized admin panels

Have a look at github.com/kittoframework/kitto it may not use LiveView, but fits your description.
