This performance premiered on April 1 2022 as part of ‪@SynthFestFrance‬. It’s a mythical, musical exploration of the Lod Cave in Thailand, with the various musical parts rushing off to explore its various chambers and celebrate its mystery and beauty, while others are more apprehensive and suggest caution.

So inspiring! I jumped into Eurorack only a short couple years ago and your book and videos have been super helpful.

Dude as someone who just started working with Abelton a few months ago, crossing over from studio production to live performance production, I can really appreciate this alot. Very cool. And awesome set up. I really like that launchpad that's facing out like buttons on an spaceship. Very cool. Great soundscape and use of the modular synth too. I really love the art form of combining hardware and software. Keep on rocking man. Would love to see this live.

There's a possibility of a gig in Denver the first weekend of July 2022, and it that comes off, this is probably the piece I will play at it.

Lovely set and a great atmospheric vibe. Some great kit on display too, but what were you using the iPhone for perched on your modular case?

Those are my performance notes! Rather than have pieces of paper taped up around the instruments (which is what I used to do), I've now found it easier just to keep them on my phone.

Is that some kind of gear you wear on your hands or is that a health issue? Awesome performance btw

Fishing gloves, with LEDs pointing down the thumb and index finger - makes it easier to see the controls in dark settings.

It's funny the amount of wires and tech this guy is using to produce sounds very similar to primitive wood and string instruments

I love the sound of primitive instruments! I think modern mass-produced instruments often have too "pure" and refined of a sound for my taste; I like to the tool marks and hearing the odd jagged harmonic. And I try to get that complexity into my electronic sounds, as well.
