I met Pronger in person at a hockey tournament when I was young. He had recently been traded to the Blues but sill signed all my Hartford gear. He was a mentor for me as a young defenseman and was easily the nicest guy there to me.
I’ll never forget Pronger and how good he was. I’ll never forget reading the hockey news and it talking about how he almost died after taking a shot to the chest in St. Louis. Chris is and continues to be the man.
Best Chris Pronger moment to me is when he tried to cheap shot Steve Yzerman in the 2002 playoffs and ended up tearing his ACL and ending his season. Hahahahahaha.
