I am surprised that more people don't like this song. Who would not like it? They probably don't know that it's about his daughter whom he was away from while touring as a musician. She was a baby.

What a beautiful man! What genius! The Master in one of his finest moments - pouring his heart out for his daughter! It's heartbreaking to see how time and his illness has ravaged his beauty! But based on his compositions and beautiful music, his soul is gorgeous! Love him! Long Live Chris!
I am sure this was the touring band that I saw in Glasgow around 1988. The irish bass player is one of the very best as is the keyboards player. Of its time .. genius. For me this is the definitive version but he does play lovely other versions.
Heard it 3 times in the Jahrhundert hall and festival hall FFM and each time a little bit better! It's a shame that he can no longer do it today and that he no longer has his old musicians, Eoghan especially on bass the dancers and Kevin the Calimero on KB, with him! Those were great times! Hab ihn 3x in der Jahrhunderthalle und Festhalle FFM gehört und jedes mal etwas besser! Schade, dass er heute nicht mehr kann und seine alten Musiker, besonders Bassman, der Tänzer und KB, Calimero, nicht mehr dabei hat! Das waren tolle Zeiten!
