This was the first concert performance for Babymetal without Yui.. This was the first Babymetal performance in Su’s home city Hiroshima.. Before the concert there was a dedication for the victims of the nuclear bomb... ⚡ / ☂️ 🌈 'No Rain, No Rainbow' has only been performed five times (including both of the 'Legend S' concerts in Hiroshima), and never outside of Japan. It is always a crowd favorite and a special event, whenever it is performed live. The 'Legend S' video is especially meaningful when you realize that they have a close-up on Mikio Fujioka (RIP) during this part of the song: "Nidoto ae-nai kedo, wasure-naide itai yo." (We shall never meet again, but I want not to forget you forever.) This was Mr. Fujioka's last performance with BABYMETAL before he passed away. These two concerts on back-to-back nights were the first BABYMETAL performances ever in Hiroshima, Su's birthplace and home prefecture. They celebrated Su's 20th birthday, which is an especially important one in Japan.

This is one of BabyMetal's saddest songs and one of Su-metal's most amazing solo. In this song, I like the sadness that Su-metal sings best. And the guitar and piano performances are too amazing.
This was performed at Legend S in Su's 20th birthday. This show was really memorable and emotional as this was their first show without Yui as she was advised by her doctor not to perform due to health issues. This is also Mikio Fujioka (the guitarist with the burgundy guitar with a whammy bar)'s last performance before his untimely death. He fell from an observation deck while stargazing in Dec 31, 2017 and later passed away due to his injuries in Jan 5, 2018. Another factor that makes this performance really emotional is the Hiroshima bombing in the WW2. Hiroshima is Su's hometown so it holds a special place in her heart.
Most emotional song and performance by BABYMETAL, No Rain No Rainbow Legend S, this is my favorite Su-Metal solo song, when hear that solo and look Mikio, sometime i got my tear drop. Yeah beacuse this concert has many sad thinks, this is the first BABYMETAL concert without Yui-Metal, because she can't perform because healt issue, and she never comeback again, and Maybe last concert by Mikio before he passed away on January 2018. Great reaction. They don't do too many songs like this, but when they do they get it right. This is a very sad song too and Su gets the emotion across so well even though we may not understand a word of it. Hiroshima is Su-metal's home town and this was her first time playing there with BABYMETAL - celebrating her 20th birthday and coming of age. What happened with the bombing of Hiroshima is something very close to her heart (I think one of her grandparents was a survivor) and there was a short kamishibai (intro video) before this song that referenced the black acid rain that fell on the city and blackened the sky after the bomb exploded. It can be no accident in the editing of the video that when Su sings the line "We shall never meet again, but I want to not forget you forever" that the camera focuses briefly on guitarist Mikio Fujioka (RIP). Tis was his last ever performance with BABYMETAL before his tragic accident where he fell from an observation deck while stargazing and died from his injuries a few days later. 'No Rain, No Rainbow' also pays homage to and is inspired by X Japan's 'Endless Rain'. Everybody at this concert was given 3 "treasures" they had to wear - a medallion, a mask with an LED light and a hooded cloak - and it looks like the security had the same. The staging was spectacular. That central aisle ran the length of the arena and a stage with giant, smoke breathing, laser eyed, fox heads all around it would carry the girls from one end to the other while also rotating and rising up and down and for the last song it initially stayed at the centre of the arena while first Su and then half way through the song Moa walked to it along a pathway with dry ice made it look like they were walking on a cloud. The opening of the show was possibly the most spectacular thing I have ever seen. Whenever the late Mikio Fujioka the guitarist who passed away on the 5th of January 2018 plays the guitar solo, I will tear up just by pure emotions and sincerity in Su-Metal voice.
It's unbelievable with all emotions you can have, to hear this epic Ballade. Start to cry every time when the Guitars start the solo.. Personally my favorite Balade. OF ALL TIME 🤘🦊
The song is heavily influenced by X Japan's Endless Rain. As are a lot of things you see in (mostly earlier) BABYMETAL shows (the neckbrace, the gong, etc). Akatsuki is another song and live performance heavily influenced by an X Japan song, Kurenai, especially by the live performance of the song. They're something like the Metallica of Japan (if you don't know X Japan). Ask 10 japanese rock/metal musicians and probably 8 or 9 of them would say they were influenced by X Japan or one of their members in one way or another. BABYMETAL Manager/Producer Kobametal is also a huge fan of them. Hiroshima is Su-metal's hometown and this show was to commemorate her 20th birthday. She did a pretty good job to not let those tears in her eyes fall in the second part of the song. If you wanted to, you could interpret the song lyrics to Hiroshima, "there can't be happiness without hardship", with the atomic bombing and the population never giving up rebuilding the city afterwards.
Even if we can't watch clearly. Legend S NRNR version is still the best choice. We can still think of the tears in Su-metal's eyes and her figure walking down the steps alone.
Strong 1980's power ballad feel to it. The guitars and piano remind me a lot of the song Alone from Heart. I get misty eyed every time I hear this song, especially the Legend S version. I don't know too many performers/singers that can make a grown man cry, even when I don't understand the lyrics (although I've read them since). Her voice is pure magic.
Back when I had freshly discovered BABYMETAL this song really took me by surprise. But I love a good ballad, so I was very happy to learn that they deliver in that area as well. It's a fantastic song, in years of listening to it, it has never failed to make me shed a tear. Especially this particular show with Su's great performance.

No need to read the lyrics. I am a Japanese but my nationality and literacy do not have distinct advantages to feel the emotion stirred by this song.
It's so cool to know that Hiroshima is her hometown! I explored all over the city for a day before moving on. It was a 2 week long trip and we carried all of our gear on our back while hopping the trains from town to town. I have photos from the top of Mt Fuji too :)
The whole show is epic. From IN THE NAME OF to The One. It's very theatrical and beautiful. If Su-metal doesn't make you cry with this song, she will with The One.
Epic concert from begaining to end and love this performance of NRNR Su showing again why Koba was inspired to create BabyMetal while watching Su performing when she was around 10 years old . Only downside was Yui took ill before this performance and on Drs advice did not perform and later announced she would not be coming back because she still had health issues . So although epic performance a sad one . First time they performed as a duo and the last time Mikio performed with BabyMetal before his untimely death. 🤘❤❤🤘

It is rare for SU-METAL to reveal her emotions on stage. This is because she has kept the promise she made to her choreographer Mikiko when she was 10 years old: "I will not cry on stage. The song was performed at her 20th birthday concert as a requiem for the tragedy that occurred in her hometown of Hiroshima on August 6, 1945.
As you probably may know, Hiroshima is SuMetal birthplace, and this was performed at her 20th birthday, this day is special in many ways because besides that was the first live concert without YuiMetal, the group was so concerned and worry about this issue but it was a special date for SuMetal and MoaMetal said they decide to go on and to help SuMetal's dream to perform in her hometown. This show is amazing from the beginning and is top notch without a doubt, you won't see this type of production very often, and you won't fine less than 1080p quality vids from them officially, I mean they even started uploading their first song Doki Doki Morning! with that insane quality back in 2012. SuMetal solos are so beautiful and this one is the less heavy they have, more like rock ballad but with the unique BabyMetal flavor, but my favorite song is Rondo Of Nightmare, if you didn't watched by now I strongly recommend you. Keep digging the Fox Hole, who knows maybe next time in Japan we'll be able to watch them live, until then, kitsune up! 🦊🤘

if u want a real surprise you should check 'from dusk till down'... really not a tipical song of BABYMETAL at all (and usually not very heard by BABYMETAL fans themselves) it mixes a lot of elctronical elements also not so fast bit :) they perfomred this song live only one time and it has no pro shot so u should listen to the audio version...
