First time I heard this album I listened to it 7 times in a row......for me a classic and selfishly I'm glad only those with appreciation of great music have this album!
Made this our wedding song after hearing it the night I proposed to my wife. It was in old Chicago hotel, in the room they had a record company compilation album pimping some of their artists in the CD player and they promoted us taking the CD with us. Flash to our wedding on a Beach in Maui...a random visitor saw us and gave us a gift of several CD's he burned with music on it, NO JOKE, Untangle My Mind played once again.

Saw these guy's at the Uptown,Kansas City.2003....a life time ago.They were with Warren Haynes and The Allman brothers.A beautiful show...a beautiful night.See the show was sold out but Annie wanted to go ,she really wanted to go,youknow.So I devised a plan.As an old furniture mover I found an excuse to get into the production office.Something about a desk needing to go from one room to another.With my dolly in hand I went straight up those stairs,knocked on that door and the producer opened up to me trying to explain to him how I was supposed to move a desk or something like that.Somewhere in the short conversation the show came up and how it was sold out and how I knew producer's always hold a few tickets back.He said,"well you know Barry I just may have a few tickets.Would you be interested"?I answered reluctantly,as not to seem to excited...."how much".He said"120 bucks".Now I'm a city boy so I had to haggle,I said"look man,all I got is 105 dollors to my name".To my suprise he invited me into his well furnished office ,kneeled down in front of a very old safe.Opened it up and placed two beautiful ,freshly printed tickets to the show in my happy little hand.I remitted 105 dollors and said thank you very much and handed him a copy of my song,"This little Dream" (available on you tube under my real name,Barry Trussell).Warren was excellent as always,Chris was supurb and what can you say about the Allman bro's,they are great and there songs are timeless.Annie got to see her show that night,I got the satisfaction of getting to see a great show and holding hands with Anie all night.Beautiful night,like I said.

@Vinnius Kruger He met Kate Hudson in 1998, and you can follow its reflection on The Black Crowes' By Your Side and even on Lions, but mostly on this record and on This Magnificent Distance. This song, along with Could You Really Love Me, Katie Dear, Diamond Ring, Heavy, Only A Fool, If You See California and many others, was clearly inspired by the feelings he had towards her. The lyrics are very specific, and that's what's magical about it, not only on this song, but on the other ones as well. You can almost touch the thick reality flowing out of this, it's beyond a musical of physical experience, I truly hope people can appreciate it for what it really is, an absolutely pure spiritual expression of genuine peace, safety and the joy of finding home in somebody else's eyes.
