The goal of RU-vid is to create something that no longer requires RU-vid. The 5 year plan should be using YT to jumpstart the next thing outside of all of this.
yeah no kidding, it is so interesting that everyone is jumping ship on RU-vid at the moment, or it feels that way. I was watching a Doug Demiro video and he said exactly that.
No hate but Rud really just needs some education. No traditional mechanical or welding skills trying to keep his auto channel going at 26 isn't going to cut it. Learn to weld and some basic automotive service skills like diagnostics would do him wonders. Even a basic auto collision class would set him ahead. Or he could just hire professionals.
i love how chris bascially called out MATV for paying all that money on facebook sponsorships. and in other words tommy was right about chris he just listens to what HE wants to hear, been about a year and chris hasnt uploaded anything really worth watching other than his trip to florida and such, and he procrastinates tf out of EVERYTHING then blames it on shipping company's and everything OTHER than himself. he keeps hiring completely idiotic children to work on his cars then cries to his viewers on how long it takes for him to get anything done and how he doesnt have a reliable mechanic. he moves a girl from aus to usa and even less content is pushed out. his idea of content is buying pos cars and having it sit in his parking lot for over a year, blueberry has been taken apart for 2 years roberto has had the zenki for like 8 months now he had a 240 in ny getting 'WRAPPED" but over a year goes by and not a single thing was touched on the car his e30 was built by rktunes, colorado was built in tommys and some other shop his ls drift car was built by tommy but chris claims he built it he has a $50k GT-R that he doesnt even take care of he has a 370 that he neglected and had people from aus come over just to drift it and the thing was a HUGE pos cause chris failed to try to fix it properly he has a chaser that he bought like 2 years ago got it wrapped then lets it sit in his garage. chris just doesnt have the knowledge to build cars i feel. i loved chris since haggard and onward buuuuut,, his content is a HUGE decline ever since leaving tommy. unfortunate that now half the video is talking about random BS or them at the gym. and better yet you pay $5 a month for this dudes patreon youre only getting the SAME SHIT, if anybodys wondering he bought yet another 240 and we all know how this ones gonna go

But I remember getting so excited when they released the STI in the USA, and the EVO at the same time, and I had so much stress picking which one to get and I got an EVO.

fun story, i fallow this skateboard youtuber right, but he has another channel where do does carpentry and dry wall stuff. everyone i know who knows about him watches his skateboard content and knows him from that. however his dry wall stuff makes him so much more money on youtube
He can say that he wants to get better, get more views and improve his channel but every new year he comes out saying he's gonna do big things and guess what, he doesn't. He is stuck in his old Haggard ways with buying shitboxes and losing against the YT car algorithm.

As with all things, they evolve. YT use to be everyday peeps but now most people know you can make BIG money on YT. So they want people who they think deserve that BIG money. They don't like the idea of someone like their neighbor making a living off videos, something anyone can do. Why do you deserve BIG money???

I used to watch him for YEARS like before tommy years! I always loved his content and when he was with people like tommy and will helping him but as of late i have stopped, content has fkne way down, he isnt moving forward or trying to grow. Yes he is enjoying his life BUT he will ultimately fail and his channel will die if he doesnt try and be better and grow.
problem is that every project car he does still ends up being a heap. reverse midas touch if you will. he even managed to completely mess up the blueberry
