The hayabusa in the far lane wheelies to the 1/8th mile mark and runs in the 8's. I run one of my best ever passes on the GSXR 1000 in the near lane ... 8.94 in the 1/4 mile.
I think you misunderstood the title. 8.9s was in the 1/4 mile, the Hayabusa wheelied til the 1/8th mile mark. These bikes run high 5s in the 1/8th mile.
