He beat Chicago, beat Green Bay, beat Kansas City (first time Broncos beat KC in eight years), beat Buffalo, beat Minnesota, beat Cleveland. And threw the two longest in-the-air passes in the NFL season.

RW3 is wASHED BUT Threw 26 TD's and 8 Int's. Steelers QB's threw 13 TD's and 13 Int's in 2023. WTF!

Nobody knows what this offense is gonna look like. We have GP who atp is a one trick pony and the rest of wr’s are jags. And then we have to look at the offense as a whole, new oc had some success but questionable, hc is good but has had offensive struggles, new oline relying on young talent. If we do well Arthur smith will be regarded as a top oc but if it doesn’t work the mike t pitchforks will come back

What you say makes no sense. You can be a great player and still not be able to rank or judge players. Plus Sims is history of judging QB talent better than mostly anyone out there. So your logic is flawed.

If you consider cracking an NFL roster at QB a failure you have extremely high standards

21 is generous and strictly Sean Payton driven. Russ is a downward trending player & it’ll show itself again this year in Pittsburgh when Pickens is screaming at him for dirt balling easy plays

21? Ridiculously low. Russ last year had 98 QB rating, 26 Tds 8 int, 3000 passing. 4 game winning drives. On a crappy broncos team that actually gave up 70 in a game last year. Lol
@Nate-zm6bd
@Nate-zm6bd 4 месяца назад
it happens every year. the media decides to hate a player. the stats dont equal the hate. the career doesnt equal the hate. I hope Russ proves all the haters wrong. Its wild how quick everyone turns on a player. from HOF to scrub in no time.

RW`s stats don't tell the full story. He wasn't nearly as good as the stats say. People fall in love with stats, but you have to actually watch the games. 21 is generous, most GMs wouldn't even rate him this high.
@timflint25
@timflint25 4 месяца назад
I agree with what you're saying but the stats are a little misleading. If you watched the games, he didn't pass the eye test. He can't diagnose/audible much before the play. He's not the most cerebral. He's a glorified backyard QB without the athleticism anymore to be great at that. Way too many plays were him looking like Alex Smith, just scared watching the rush and dumping the ball 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage. Now he wasn't awful, that's for sure. But it certainly was barely average.

@tjayd1225
@tjayd1225 4 месяца назад
Go back to when he didn’t have Sean Payton propping him up. Watch the actual games not just the stat sheet. And after the 70 point game, the defense made adjustments, cut people, and were much better
@buddysteele7624
@buddysteele7624 2 месяца назад
AHMED no one cares about stupid simple stats, Simms being more than anyone, so quit trying to interrupt him to shove those in. He doesn’t want it. We don’t want it. We want real film analysis and Simms is the only one on the screen that is capable of that so let him talk. When it comes to football knowledge you have no reason to speak
@Joel_Aleman

I think he is a bit higher than that. Personally i have him in that 14-18 range. Guys like Baker and cousins benefit from having excellent helpers. Jordan love we need to see more.

All the Russ hate. Likely in the 12 to 16 range last year and this offense is likely a better fit for top 15+ this year again.. Simms is a clown and Russ is liekly more mentally strong than you have ever been on your journey. Goof.. Took Bree's 3 years before the system clicked so this nonsense about just running with the new system at peek performance is trash talk on your part...
@jordanjmdjmd74

Brees was great in Payton's system from game 1, not sure what you're talking about.
@larrylindgren9484
@larrylindgren9484 4 месяца назад
@@jordanjmdjmd74 I don't remember Brees ever not getting it in that system either. Maybe he wasn't perfect to begin with, but he was darn good at running the offense. Brees' first year in NO he led the NFL in passing yards. Brees always threw INTs. One year he led the NFL in TDs and INTs. He averaged 30 TDS and 12 INTs and 4200 yards. So not quite 3 to 1.

Seems about right. Can't throw to the middle, checks down every play when he's not bailing from the pocket early, doesn't see the field well. I like this ranking
@charlesaskew8619
@charlesaskew8619 4 месяца назад
He can throw the middle. There are plenty of throws over the middle. When there is pressure in the A and B gap he will tuck or roll out the pocket. He's made more middle-of-field passes when he's had a dominant center.

@@tyronegrant3422 Yet game after game more times than of the offense struggled for a lot of the games. There were quite a few games in Seattle were the offense barely had 150 yards going into the fourth quarter. Russ maybe a big play here and there and get 120 yards in the quarter and then the numbers were ok. He was the hero. Yet if he did anything the other 3 quarters Seattle would have won the game going away. But his overall play was painful to watch. They won because the defense played lights out. If the offense didn't score 1 point in the SB Seattle would have won 16-7. It wasn't really Russ that day either. He was the reason they didn't win by more. He couldn't get the ball in the zone most of the day.

Gotta love how Wilson gets a free pass for 2022. Last year was slightly below avg but 2022 was pathetic. You can't just ignore 2022. Yeah, Hackett sucked but Wilson was one of the worst QBs in the league in 2022.
