As good as he is on radio, he is 1,000,000x better live. One of the best voices of all time. Dude doesn't need a mic. He can fill a stadium with his voice. He used to be just a writer, but the stars recognized the talent and told him that he needed to sing. Thank God!

I think this song is one of those ones he does that's genius in the fact that it manages to seem too short, but not in a bad way, in a way that leaves you wanting more. You want that next hit of sweet Stapleton.

Good thing that Chris Stapleton is not a television/radio advertising announcer. Could you just imagine him reading the legal disclaimers at the end of the commercial? It would make the audience forget all about the product being advertised. This stuff is PFM: pure f'ing magic.

I saw Chris in concert last week. He sang the introduction of his band members names to the music to Tennessee Whiskey and even that shit was 🔥 😂😂. He was AMAZING live!!

Chris is pure soul/blues. He can cross any genre with it, country being his heart, but the fact remains he has a pure soul/blues voice. You talk about him singing something as simple as Happy Birthday, there is a song that is so simple, yet so powerful, by Chris and his wife Morgane (who has a ton of talent herself), the classic, You are my Sunshine. They simply take it to the next level.

I just seen Chis Stapleton with my wife Saturday with Willie Nelson (amazing) and he sounds just like he does on his albums/ videos. Only took a year and a half, lol. But it was so worth the wait. So good. So was Willie at 88 years old!!!

Guys, this album has a variety of styles. From bangers like this to a mellow Joy of My Life, a party song like Devil Always Makes Me Think Twice, to a full orchestra backing him on Cold. There is a tear jeweler called Maggie’s song and a slow, 70’s type of groove in You Should Probably Leave. He takes you all over and back on this one. You can’t put him in any box, he sings what he feels and it is always great!
